A little life update ❤️ I’ve shared pieces of my relationship with my dad over the years. Reconnecting, talking, trying to understand each other, and hoping we could build something healthier. And I really did try. When my mom was actively dying, I had to ask myself what decision I would be able to live with for the rest of MY life. I didn’t want to look back and wonder if I should have tried one more time. So I did. I tried. I hoped. I gave our relationship another chance. And there were good moments. That’s what makes this hard. But in the end, I realized I was holding onto the hope that he would change, while the same angry patterns continued. Especially toward his children. I’ve had to accept that he may never be the dad I needed him to be. And I don’t have to wait until he’s gone to grieve that. I can love my dad. I can be grateful for the good moments. I can wish things were different. And I can still choose not to accept being verbally abused anymore. This wasn’t a decision I made lightly. I tried because I loved him. But now, I’m choosing peace. ❤️ 10/02/2026

And no… it doesn’t hurt. 😘💋 One of the biggest things I hear before lip blush is, “But does it hurt?” And honestly? No. 🤗 And yes, your lips can look MUCH bolder immediately after your appointment, but that is NOT your final color! They heal down into a much softer, natural-looking tint. 🫶🏼 Lip blush helps add definition and even out your natural lip tone without looking like you have lipstick on 24/7. 💕 And yes… these are MY lips! 🥰 If you’ve been curious about lip blush but nervous about the process, I hope this helps take some of that fear away. 💋 09/28/2026

There’s a weird kind of grief that comes with choosing yourself. You can know you made the right decision and still wish it never had to be made. I’m learning that protecting my peace doesn’t mean I don’t love someone. It means I finally understand that loving someone shouldn’t require abandoning myself. ❤️‍🩹 09/26/2026

Why do I offer Portfolio Sessions after 7+ years in permanent makeup? Because being experienced doesn’t mean you stop evolving! Portfolio Sessions give me the opportunity to slow down, refine advanced techniques, create specific looks I want represented in my work, and keep my portfolio current with the artist I am today. These are NOT training sessions. You’ll receive the same full client experience, expertise, and attention to detail, just at a special portfolio rate. The difference? I may spend a little more time perfecting certain details, documenting the process, and capturing photos/videos of your results to showcase my work. 🌸Portfolio Sessions include: •personalized consultation & mapping •services include: microblading, powder/ombre, nano, or combo brows, lips, eyeliner •special portfolio pricing of 50% off full price •full professional client experience 👛Pricing: first session: $212.50 (regularly $425) 6-week perfecting appointment: $175, booked separately Note: You must be cleared of all contraindications before booking. If you’ve been wanting your brows, lips or eyeliner done, AND love the idea of helping me continue to refine and showcase my artistry, this is your opportunity. 💕 📩 Message me or email texasbohobeauty@gmail.com to secure your portfolio session today! #weatherfordtexas #hudsonoaks #willowparktx #texaspermanentmakeup #weatherfordbrows best permanent makeup artist near weatherford Texas, best microblading near Hudson oaks Texas, where to get brows done near Aledo Texas, beauty salon in springtown Texas, beauty salon in Annetta Texas, brow salon near Silverado on the Brazos, permanent makeup near fort worth Texas, Dallas brow artist, Dallas microblading, Dallas permanent brow makeup 09/22/2026

Permanent makeup isn’t meant to replace your makeup. 🤎✨ It’s meant to give you that effortless, everyday look: ✨ A barely-there, natural finish ✨ Soft, healed color ✨ Defined & perfected brows ✨ Less time filling in your brows every morning 🙌🏼 And if you’re looking for a bolder brow for a night out, just add a little brow product and turn up the volume! 💃🏻✨ Remember, permanent makeup will always look bolder when it’s freshly done. As it heals, the color softens and cools, and the overall appearance becomes much more natural. 🤍 The goal? Beautiful, natural-looking brows that enhance your face without looking like a tattoo. 🥰 Fresh brows are just the beginning… the healed result is the goal. 🤎✨ 09/21/2026

After week 2 in outpatient therapy, I can honestly say… it’s not nearly as scary as I thought it would be. I’m learning real tools with an in-person therapist every day and, more importantly, I’m learning how to actually use those tools in real time. It’s a group setting, which I was sure would bother me. Turns out, I actually really like it. Hearing everyone else’s perspectives, realizing I’m not the only one who experiences certain things, and learning from other people has been surprisingly comforting. I was also worried the doctor would mess with my medications. Instead, she’s adjusted them in the best way. I’m calmer now. Not a “high” calm. Not numb. Just… calm. Like, where have these meds been all my life?! 😂 The constant chatter in my head is quieter. The constant “hurry up and go” feeling has disappeared. I’m able to sleep without racing thoughts waking me up at 2:30 AM. I’m actually sleeping until 5 or 6 AM. And honestly? I think this might have been what I needed. A place to learn the healthy things my parents didn’t know how to teach me or simply couldn’t. A place to learn how to cope instead of just survive. A place to figure out what the real me actually feels, needs, and wants. I’m only two weeks in, but I’m starting to understand that therapy isn’t about fixing who I am. It’s about finally learning how to take care of her. 💕 09/19/2026

He didn’t rescue me. He didn’t fix me. He loved me while I did the hard work of healing. And after everything I’ve been through, that’s the kind of love I’ll never take for granted. 🤍 09/18/2026
