Chunky Highlight Foil Technique: A Y2K Comeback? This chunky highlight foil technique has made a huge comeback and comes highly requested in the salon lately especially because of all of these Y2K trends coming back in style. Depending on how thick you want your chunky highlights or how wide you want them determines how many foils you’re gonna place back to back. I finished up the entire back section with my go-to partial highlight foil placement. For the sides I also added in some more rooted chunky highlights to modernize this chunky highlight placement. This entire application took just 30 minutes to apply making this a quick service. Hey, I’m out here doing hair during natural disaster aftermath again. All our service industry peeps are either busting their asses to get you your takeout bc you can’t cook at home , making your drinks, or not able to work because the whole damn place has blown away. We are so lucky to have people supporting us and tipping like total angels. It’s been rough but we are only gonna make it if we take care of each other. Y’all remember when I was saying “money piece” and everyone thought I was such a weirdo and now issa thang? Well, I’m still here for it. A good money piece isn’t crunchy tho. So you should be hitting it with some kind of serum like the Pop Lock from @colorwowhair (which I’ve got at the shop for $20) every morning. It’s super light and doesn’t feel greasy. Put it by your toothbrush or in your makeup bag do you don’t forget ❤️ Also a friendly reminder to support small business. Sephora and Ulta are going to survive the recession, I promise.
