This beautiful client has been coming to me for hair extensions for over 10 years. She has fine/thin hair and comes in about twice a year to add soft fullness, a little extra length, and color through extensions instead of constantly coloring her own hair.

For this appointment, we refreshed her look with my custom Nano K-Tip extensions — adding just a couple of inches, natural density, and soft blonde dimension while keeping everything lightweight, seamless, and believable.

She’s not looking for super long or overly full hair, and that’s exactly where a custom Nano K-Tip method works beautifully. Every bond is placed and customized based on her natural density, texture, and lifestyle.

I also included a grow-out/removal photo because it’s so important to show what extensions can look like when they’re done correctly, maintained properly, and removed safely. Her natural hair underneath looked healthy, soft, and ready for a fresh install.

For Sara’s transformation, we used my line of premium Slavic Hair Extensions to add length, fullness, movement, and a brighter blonde effect — without coloring her natural hair yesterday.

This is one of my favorite things about custom K-Tips: they can be used as a form of color enhancement. By placing the right blonde tones throughout the hair, the entire look becomes lighter, softer, and more dimensional without adding more bleach to the natural hair.

From bulky wefts to seamless 26” blonde Nano K-Tips ✨

This beauty came in with weft extensions that felt too bulky for her natural hair, and she wanted to go lighter, brighter, longer, and more glamorous.

We removed the wefts, highlighted her entire head, softened and lightened her base color, then used a gloss toner to neutralize the gold and add shine. After the color was perfected, I installed custom Nano K-Tip extensions using premium Russian/Slavic hair in 26 inches for that long blonde wow effect.

The goal was not just length — it was softness, movement, and a seamless blend. Her before photo was already curled, which can make the hair look fuller, but the transition photo shows how much the Nano K-Tips added natural-looking fullness without the heaviness of bulky wefts.

Created this custom black and blonde hair extension look for Lara Raj of KATSEYE for a Matrix by L’Oréal campaign ✨

The inspiration was that bold early 2000s stripy Christina Aguilera style hair — high contrast, long layers, face-framing brightness, and major statement hair. Since I previously created that signature striped extension look during the Simple Life era, I knew exactly how to build it in a way that still feels current, sexy, and camera-ready.

For this look, I used 26-inch custom hair extensions in mostly black, platinum blonde, and a little brown for added depth and dimension. The goal was length, movement, contrast, and that iconic pop star energy.
