Color correction story time 🎨🧑🏾‍🎨

My salon guest came in with a really tricky color. You can see from the first picture she has her natural hair. She shared with me that she had box died her hair, but it was really hard to see the difference in color in some areas. We removed as much as possibly, then highlighted her.
She was soooo happy! When I was zooming in on my pictures I saw a spot that looked a little darker. So I called her up and told her. I would like her to come back so I can pop a few foils in.
My guest still loved her color, but was down to come back…. 5 foils did the trick.
I took the opportunity to show her how to airdry her naturally wavy/ curly hair at home. We used the Veil Dryer | Hooded Hair Dryer of course! it feels really great when they trust you ✂️🖤

I love when I met 4C girls who love their 4C hair.
There’s so much variety in 4C hair, I lowkey think there should be a 4D category.
For my blowout I used a paddle withOUT the balls. There are times where you need to use a brush with the balled tips

Love a good color correction!!!!
Patience is everything. Our first session just broke up some of the dark color. The second round we removed color and highlighted again.
