You'll need to know these terms for your esthetics and cosmetology state board exam, so here's an easy way to remember the differences!

Did you know all solutions are mixtures, but not all mixtures are solutions?

🥗 Some examples of mixtures in esthetics would be masks, scrubs, or clay mixed with water. A sugar scrub would be a MIXTURE of sugar and oil.

🧪 Some examples of solutions in esthetics would be toners, liquid exfoliants, and a saline solution. Salt water is a solution because the salt completely dissolves in water.

💧 Some examples of solvents in esthetics would be water, alcohol, and even oil. Water is the solvent in our example that dissolves salt in saltwater.

🧂 Some examples of solutes in esthetics would be salicylic acid in toners or salt in a saline solution. The salt is the solute in our example because it's what is being dissolved.

Some thoughts I've had today, in no particular order:

Being Linc's mom has been the most amazing, craziest, strangest, overwhelming thing I've ever done. I love him so much. In his own way, he's taught me to be a better person. Getting to watch his personality form is both fascinating and exciting. Moms deserve so much understanding and empathy.

Also, I saved one of my favorite pictures of him for last. 🥹

SO excited to offer this class to ANYONE interested in becoming a paramedical tattoo artist.

Since adding these services several years ago, the transformations I've given my clients have been motivating and transformative.

This in-person class will be held at my shop in Westerville, OH. Upon completion, you will be certified to perform Inkless Stretch Mark Revision on your own.

You'll go over my in-depth theory, understanding the service as a whole and who is a client and what stretch marks can and cannot be treated. You'll receive the same machine I use, same needles, and all supplies you will need to perform this service on your own.

I'm giving you lifetime support, so I'm here for any questions. You'll also have the ability to shadow me if you need additional training.

My goal is to make you, a new paramedical tattoo artist, as successful as possible.

This clients vermillion border on her top lip wasn't well defined, so the shape disappeared.

I mapped her entire lip area all the way to the vermillion border, then tattooed a complimentary color into her actual lips, defining a perfect shape custom to her.
