Well… I tried the whole “take time off” thing and yeah, not for me.

In case you missed it—I took a brief detour to beat cancer. 0/10 experience, would not recommend. But we handled it.

I’m officially back behind the chair, a little more tired, a lot more grateful, and unfortunately still very much myself.

Shoutout to everyone who checked in, gave me space, and didn’t forget about me—I see you and I appreciate you more than you know.

Anyway… my books are open again. Come see me so I can fix your hair and pretend I didn’t just go through a whole life plot twist.

I’ve rewritten this post a hundred times because I still don’t know how to say it.

Recently, I was diagnosed with kidney cancer.

One minute life felt normal… and the next, everything changed. Suddenly there are doctors, scans, words you never expect to hear about your own body, and quiet moments where fear gets really loud. I won’t pretend I’ve been strong every day — there have been tears, sleepless nights, and moments where I’ve just sat wondering how this became my reality.

I spend my life helping other people feel good, confident, and taken care of. Now I’m learning what it feels like to be the one who needs support — and that has been one of the hardest parts for me.

The truth is, I’m scared. Not just of surgery or treatment, but of the unknown. Of slowing down. Of not being able to show up the way I always have for the people and the work I love so much.

But I’m also holding onto hope. Hope that this is just a chapter, not the whole story. Hope that I’ll come back stronger. Hope that I’ll still get to stand behind my chair, laugh with my clients, and live the life I love.

I’ve been doing hair for about 17 years, and I love helping people feel beautiful, confident and happy.

I specialize in anything hair color! But my favorite things would be Balayages and precision Bobs.

Behind the chair my focus is to make you feel better than you did when you walked in, to make you feel like you found a new best friend and a second home you can be yourself at.

My favorite part of this job is working with all my guests and getting to talk about whatever they want. I’m always up for a good gossip session or to be ear for you to talk to.

When you sit in my chair you can expect a lot of laughs and and convo that could flow anywhere.

Outside the salon you’ll find me shopping going out to eat or hanging at home with my BF!
