Meet Jessica, our resident morning glory. We found her growing as a tiny little sprout through a tiny crack in our office floor—an unexpected little reminder that you don’t need perfect conditions to put down roots. 🌿

As a small business, we admire her approach: start where you are, work with what you have, and keep reaching toward the light. Some days, growing looks like a new bloom. Other days, it’s simply hanging on.

Now she seems quite taken with the gourds we’ve placed around the shop. A resilient queen with an eye for seasonal décor. 🎃

We’re open today, 11–3. Come find something lovely and say hello to Jessica. She’s growing right alongside us. 💚

Sometimes my homework is just… sniffing tiny bottles. 👃🧪

A little peek behind the scenes: learning your materials is an ongoing part of being a perfumer. I keep coming back to smell them, because there’s often something I didn’t notice the last time.

My favorite way to practice? Blind tests. No names, no descriptions—just my nose and whatever strange little story it comes up with. Without a label giving me hints, I have more room to imagine textures, places, memories, and unexpected pairings.

Some days it’s “soft woods in a sunlit room.” Other days it’s “pencil shavings, but make it mysterious.” 😂

Still learning. Still curious. Occasionally sniffing the same bottle three times because my nose has follow-up questions. 🌊

I always feel like somebody’s watching me. We’ll add Guardcat/Security to her job description. 😂🤣

After your consultation, we develop your fragrance, provide a sample to experience on your skin, and offer an opportunity to refine it. Your finished perfume is given time to mature and macerate before release. That resting period lets the blend settle, so we can evaluate its balance and how it unfolds on skin—not just its first impression.

And when you find your signature scent, keeping it is easy. We securely save your formula for convenient reordering through our website. No recipe cards to keep track of. Your fragrance stays on file with us.
