After 6 years in the industry I am still surprised to find out a lot of people don’t know your eyelashes grow and shed 🥲
first time lash clients panic and lash artists get the dreaded “my lashes are falling out” text but I promise they’re meant to fall out!! ✨
There’s exceptions to this of course like, lash extensions coming out attached to multiple natural lashes or just the extensions themselves falling out which are NOT normal. But waking up to a lash extensions or two on your pillow case is normally not a reason to panic and is actually a sign your lashes are healthy and still able to grow 🙂‍↕️

Lifted my second least favorite clients lashes the other day 🤭🤭 now go tell her how long and beautiful they are she’s been waiting

I remember signing the lease absolutely terrified thinking of how much could change in 2 years. It somehow feels like I’ve just opened the doors to Red Hot Beauty, but also like I’ve never worked anywhere else. 2 years sounds like a lifetime especially when you’re only 26. The truth is somewhere in between. The days are long but the years are so short. I can’t believe I’m walking into year two with the same girls who I walked into day one with. So much has changed since August 4th of 2024 and I’m so excited to see what change another 2 years will bring 🥹 owning a salon is not for the weak lol but now I can never imagine anything else ❣️ swipe to see some of the very first pictures I took in the shop

Got the keys to the shop after work on Saturday spent all day moving in Sunday and took my first client Tuesday morning. Haley, if you’re reading this you were my first client ever in the shop and I miss u LOL

I took out THOUSANDS of dollars to furnish the shop and it barley covered 2 shelves 2 chairs and a few decorative pieces before I was completely broke again 🥴 looking at how empty this wall is really shows how far I’ve come lol

The previous tenant had put sound absorbing foam in sheets and then stapled it to the room to help try give some privacy between the rooms 🫩 it was very quickly taken down lmao
