Sometimes the best thing for you is to hit the RESET button.
This patient presented with old filler placed by another provider over 2 years ago. She was told she received a total of “1 and a 1/2 syringes,” yet she felt that her lips looked less full than before the filler.
Migration can happen due to a number of reasons and most likely happened here because too much product was placed too quickly.
Rather than add more filler, which is what she thought she needed, we dissolved her old filler and started from scratch.
But this time, with a strategic approach:
✅ Soften the lines around the mouth
✅ Balance her chin
✅ Gradually re-build the lips
Moral of the story: Migration doesn’t happen because of the product. It happens because of placement.

One of the most under appreciated places on the face to treat with tox is the lower face.
