Vote No on Measure V!

Vacavilles “Leadership” can’t balance a budget, can’t fix our roads, and rather spend money on more surveillance equipment than first response needs. How embarrassing…

Ballots are out in the mail, Vote No on anymore tax increases!

Vacaville is asking voters for a new 1% sales tax expected to bring in about $28 million a year, all while its Flock transparency page lists 249 license-plate-reader and other cameras and more than 1.2 million vehicle detections in 30 days.

We deserve answers before agreeing to pay more: What does this surveillance network cost? What measurable public-safety results justify it? What protects innocent residents when automated systems get it wrong? And why was there no standalone public vote on this level of surveillance expansion?
Public safety and privacy should not be treated as opposites. But mass data collection without strict limits, meaningful oversight, and proven results is not a fair trade.
Vote NO on Measure V. Protect privacy. Demand accountability.

Yard signs coming soon! Vote No on Measure V! No more taxes! We are taxed enough!

My full statement to The Reporter:

“I’ve personally known Supervisor John Vasquez and his familia for decades, and I hold him in the highest regard for both his service to our country and his decades of dedicated work in local government. While his recent absences from the Board are understandably a concern for residents who want consistent representation, I believe they must be viewed in the context of his serious health battle. As a candidate, my commitment is to be present and fully engaged at every meeting on behalf of our community, but as a neighbor, Marine, and public servant, I stand with John and his family during this difficult time. I sincerely hope he beats this cancer and is able to close out his long career on a high note, as a fighter and a survivor.”

Roy Stockton just cleared something up: Mayor John Carli did NOT sign an NDA with California Forever. Good. That means there’s no excuse—ask him directly. If he’s willing, he should turn his comments on and answer the people who elected him.
I’ve made my stance clear. Meanwhile, many of my opponents stay quiet. That’s not leadership. If someone wants to represent you, they should be ready to answer tough questions—publicly.
Hold them accountable. They are elected officials.
As for me, I’ll always tell you exactly where I stand. I’m not chasing endorsements from developers or billionaires who don’t even live here—I’m earning yours.
