One of the biggest misconceptions about finer hair textures is that you should avoid styling products because they’ll weigh your curls down.

But here’s the thing… fine hair still needs hold!

The key isn’t necessarily using less product. It’s choosing the right products for your hair’s texture, density, and styling needs.
Fine strands can become easily overwhelmed by heavy creams, butters, and oils, leaving curls looking limp, flat, or weighed down.

Instead, reach for lightweight products that provide definition and hold without unnecessary heaviness.
✨ Lightweight gels can provide lasting hold and definition without weighing curls down.
✨ Foams and mousses can help encourage volume, movement, and curl formation.
✨ Strategic layering allows you to build hold without overloading your hair.
And don’t be afraid of a little crunch! A gel cast can actually be your fine curls’ best friend. Once your hair is completely dry, gently scrunch out the cast to reveal soft, defined curls with movement.

Remember: Fine hair doesn’t necessarily need less hold. It needs less weight.

This is the full curly experience.

Perfect if you’re:

Your curls are cut dry and customized to your individual texture, density, curl pattern and goals. After your cut, we’ll cleanse, hydrate and style your curls while talking you through products, techniques and tips to help you recreate your results at home.

Think of this as a shape refresh between your full curly cuts.

Perfect if:
• You already have an established shape you love
• You just need a little cleanup or maintenance
• You’re not looking for a major change
• Your ends or shape need a quick refresh

The Curly Express is performed on clean, dry, detangled hair and does not include a wash or style. Because of the shorter appointment time, it’s not intended for major shape changes or significant length removal.

How did we get here already?!

So incredibly proud of Emma as she starts her senior year at Rider University. It feels like just yesterday we were celebrating her first first day, and now she’s heading into her final year before taking on the world of education. ❤️

Watching you grow into the smart, funny, kind, independent woman you are makes me prouder than I could ever put into words.

Here’s to one last year of classes, memories, late nights, big laughs, and everything that comes with being a college senior.
