Our response continues.

Following Sunday’s tragic shooting at Elm Street and Palisade Avenue, YMCA of Yonkers SNUG Outreach has been actively supporting those impacted and working within the community.

Since the shooting, our hospital response and social work team has connected with victims and families to provide support, assess immediate needs, and help connect them with victim assistance and other resources. Our outreach team has also been active in the community, engaging residents and continuing violence prevention efforts.

Today’s Community Shooting Response is one part of that ongoing work.

We invite the community to join us today from 2:00 PM–3:00 PM at Elm Street & Palisade Avenue as we come together to support those impacted, connect residents with resources, and stand together against violence.

We extend our deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of the young man whose life was lost, and we continue to stand with all of the victims, families, and community members impacted by this tragedy.

Noah had the amazing opportunity to attend the FIFA Club World Cup, where he proudly cheered on Ecuador 🇪🇨. What an unforgettable experience for a young soccer fan!
