Be the kind of woman who holds up the arms of another woman. Not because you have it all figured out. Not because your own arms aren't tired. But because you've been in the pit before, and you remember exactly what it felt like when nobody reached down.

Moses didn't win that battle by himself. His arms got tired holding up the staff, and the whole outcome of Israel's fight hinged on two other people… Aaron and Hur… who didn't say "figure it out" or "I'll pray for you from over here." They walked over, they got under his arms, and they held them up until the battle was won. Scripture doesn't even make it complicated. It just says his hands grew heavy, so they held them steady until sunset.

That's the posture you were made for. Not the one that watches another woman struggle and quietly feels better about your own life by comparison. The one that walks over, gets under her arms, and holds steady until she can stand on her own again.

Be the kind of woman who's caught praying for her friends when they're not even in the room to hear it. Be the kind who builds tables and actually invites other women to sit down at them instead of guarding the seats. Be the kind who paves the way and then genuinely cheers when someone else walks the path she cleared, instead of resenting that they didn't have to clear it themselves.

Be the kind of woman who kicks down the strongholds working against the women around her, not just the ones working against her own life. Be the kind you always needed somebody to be for you, back when nobody was.

Because that kind of woman isn't weak for holding someone else up. She's exactly who Scripture describes… full of love and humility, powerful, and carrying the favor of God in a way that only shows up when a woman stops protecting her own arms and starts holding up somebody else's.

Don’t you dare let them take you back to where you were delivered from.

Don’t you dare run your mouth like you used to.

Don’t you dare walk in offense and bitterness.

You said that you were changed.

You said that you were delivered.

And the enemy would love to make a mockery of your confession by dragging you back into ridiculousness.

You’ve been standing flat footed on the word of God…

So don’t you dare let the word of man make you step off of it to prove a point.

He knows how much they make your skin crawl.

But it’s that “I want to hate you, but it’s not worth my soul” kind of anointing that you are called to dig deep for.

You serve the One that said “put your sword away, Peter.”

As He put the ear back and fixed the problems anger caused.

You serve the One that asked His Father to forgive them as they crucified His flesh.

I think that means we have to deny ours…eh?

This is for someone today.

You keep walking humble.

You stay planted where He has you.

You rise above the fleshly nonsense that tries to suffocate the Spirit.

You did not carry your cross this far just to lay it down to point your finger in someone’s face.

You did not come underneath His covering just to step out from under it to make sure you cover your name.

He’ll do that.

But you better not stop walking with Him so that you can wallow around with them.

Stay purposed even when provoked.

Stay poised even in the pain.

Remain calmly next to the only One who can sustain.

Today I urge you to remember that no matter what kind of foul attitude that you may meet.

It’s often vital to stay…

Mouth closed, eyes on Him and humbly at His feet.
