Meet the Artist 🤍

Hi, I’m Karien- just a farmgirl originally from Vryburg, and the face behind KM Refined Aesthetics/Karien Marx Aesthetics.🌿

I studied at Isa Carstens Academy and qualified with my Diploma in Somatology and CIDESCO in 2019.👩🏼‍🎓

My journey started at a specialised Dermatology practice in Sandton, where I gained invaluable knowledge about the skin and had the privilege of assisting with treatments such as Botox, fillers, biopsies and more.💉

I then moved to Brits, working at a well-known beauty salon where I grew, gained experience, and met people who truly became family.👯‍♀️

When the salon closed, I took a leap of faith and opened my very own KM Refined Aesthetics. Working solo every day, my clients quickly became friends- and my number one priority.💕

You are a huge part of my success, and I’m so grateful to be celebrating 3 years of my own business.💃

Our industry is constantly evolving, and I’m committed to growing with it. I’m proud to say that I am now also a qualified Permanent Makeup Artist.💋
