Card of the Week: The Snow Shepherdess
Have you been feeling as though life has come to a standstill?
If you’ve been been waiting for an answer/opportunity or just for something to change, it’s easy to believe that nothing is happening or working for us. When we're in these seasons of waiting, it's easy to believe that nothing is happening. We begin to doubt ourselves or wonder if we've somehow missed our chance.
This week's card reminds us that appearances can be deceiving.
In nature, winter can look lifeless. The trees are bare, the ground is quiet and everything seems dormant. Yet beneath the surface, life is preparing for spring. Roots continue to grow. Seeds quietly wait. Nothing has stopped it’s just unfolding in its own time.
Life often works in the same way.
There are moments when we desperately want to hold on to what was, believing that if we let go we might lose everything. But some endings are not here to punish us, they are creating space for something that could not arrive while our hands were still full.
The Snow Shepherdess gently reminds us that we do not need to force life to unfold. We cannot rush healing, relationships, opportunities or our own personal growth. So much of life happens quietly, long before we are able to see the results.
This week, if you find yourself feeling discouraged, ask yourself:
- Am I judging my life only by what I can currently see?
- What if something beautiful is already unfolding behind the scenes?
Sometimes faith is not believing everything will happen exactly as we imagined, it’s trusting that life is still moving, even when we can’t yet see where it’s leading us.
Allow yourself to soften your grip and trust the timing. Keep showing up. Keep your heart open.
What seems like an empty season today may one day become the beginning you were unknowingly being prepared for.
Affirmation: I trust that life is unfolding in its own perfect timing.

Soulful Sunday Card of the Week – Metal Monkey
Let Go of Control
This week's card is a gentle reminder that not everything in life can be controlled... and perhaps it was never meant to be.
When we feel uncertain, it's natural to tighten our grip. We try to plan every outcome, solve every problem and anticipate every possibility, believing that if we can just control enough, we will finally feel safe.
But control often comes from fear, while trust comes from peace.
This card invites us to loosen our grip on the things we were never meant to carry alone.
Perhaps you've done everything you can. You've made the decision, had the conversation, done the healing or taken the first step. There comes a point where constantly analysing, worrying or trying to force the outcome no longer serves you.
Instead, it simply steals your peace.
That doesn't mean giving up or becoming passive. It means recognising the difference between what is yours to do and what is no longer yours to control.
Sometimes life unfolds in ways we could never have planned or the detour becomes the path. Sometimes what feels like a delay is quietly preparing us for something we couldn't yet see.
This week also encourages you to simplify: Where have you been making life harder than it needs to be? What can you release, delegate or stop carrying? Not everything deserves your energy.
As you let go of the need to control every detail, you create space for clarity, wisdom and new opportunities to emerge.
This week, ask yourself:
• What am I trying to control that is beyond my influence?
• Where would trusting life bring me more peace?
• What can I release so that I have more energy for what truly matters?
Take a deep breath. Trust yourself. Trust the timing of your life.
And remember... sometimes the greatest act of faith is simply allowing life to unfold.
Affirmation:
I release the need to control every outcome. I trust myself, I trust life's timing, and I welcome what is unfolding with peace and an open heart.

Soulful Sunday Card of the Week: Amulet of Kurukulla
This week’s card speaks of protection, transition and trusting who you are becoming.
There are times when we are no longer fully connected to the past but not yet settled into the new. This in-between space can feel uncomfortable and uncertain, but it does not always mean something is wrong. Sometimes it is part of your spiritual growth.
The Amulet of Kurukulla reminds you to protect your energy while you move through change.
Be mindful of the people, environments and patterns that leave you feeling weakened or unsettled. Honour your limits. Step back where necessary. Protection is not fear; it is conscious self-respect.
This card also asks you to notice the stories your mind is creating. Discomfort is not always danger. Uncertainty does not mean you are lost. Not every thought needs to be believed.
Perhaps you have a crystal, piece of jewellery, prayer or meaningful object that helps you feel grounded. Let it become a reminder of your own strength and the spiritual support around you.
This week, ask yourself:
• What am I ready to release?
• Where do I need stronger energetic boundaries?
• What helps me feel grounded and safe within myself?
You do not need to rush your transformation. Rest when needed, listen inwardly and trust that this transition is taking you somewhere meaningful.
Affirmation: I protect my energy with wisdom and love. I trust the changes unfolding within me and move through them with courage and grace.

Soulful Sunday Card of the Week - Spring
This week's card is Spring – a beautiful reminder that every ending quietly carries the seed of a new beginning.
Spring is the season of renewal. After the stillness of winter, nature doesn't force itself to bloom it just responds to the right conditions. Little by little, new life begins to emerge.
If you've spent months processing, healing, waiting or wondering what comes next. Or felt like very little has been happening on the surface. Yet beneath it all, something has been growing, then this card reminds us that periods of stillness are never wasted. They prepare us for what comes next.
Spring invites us to release what no longer fits, to let go of old stories, fears and old versions of ourselves that we've quietly outgrown. It encourages us to step beyond what feels familiar and trust that new opportunities often lie just outside our comfort zone.
Sometimes renewal doesn't arrive with a dramatic life change. Sometimes it begins with one brave decision. One new habit. One conversation. One small step in a different direction.
This week, ask yourself:
• What part of my life is asking to be renewed?
• What am I ready to leave behind?
• Where is life inviting me to step into something new?
As we move into this new week, trust that you don't need to have everything figured out before you begin. Growth rarely happens all at once. It unfolds one season at a time.
Affirmation
I welcome new beginnings with an open heart. I trust that every step forward is guiding me towards the life I am ready to grow into.

Capricorn Full Moon brings a beautiful opportunity to pause and take stock.
Capricorn is not interested in empty promises, quick fixes or pretending that something is working when it isn’t. It asks us to look honestly at the life we are building.
What is asking for more of your commitment? Where have you been carrying too much alone? What habits, responsibilities or beliefs are keeping you stuck in a version of your life that you have already outgrown?
A Full Moon brings things into clearer view. It can illuminate what needs to be completed, released or simply faced with greater maturity.
But this does not have to mean making a dramatic decision overnight. Sometimes the most powerful shift is simply admitting the truth to yourself.
Capricorn reminds us that growth is not always glamorous. It is often found in the small, steady choices that create a stronger foundation over time.
This Full Moon may be asking you to clear the decks a little and release what is draining your energy. Maybe it’s time to stop carrying what was never yours to carry.
This moon is an opportunity to become intentional about where your time, attention and energy are going. And perhaps most importantly, to remember that you do not need to have your entire future mapped out. You only need to be willing to take the next responsible, soul-aligned step.
Questions to sit with:
- What is no longer serving the life I am trying to build?
- Where am I resisting a necessary change because it feels uncomfortable?
- What do I need to release so that I can move forward with greater clarity?
Affirmation:
I release what no longer supports my growth. I trust myself to build a life that is steady, honest and aligned.

Soulful Sunday Card of the Week: Woodwives
Adaptability, Strong Roots, Growth
This week asks that you to be more flexible than you expected.
Not because you are lost or because you have done something wrong but because life is moving you beyond an old way of doing things. You may be learning that not everything needs to be controlled, figured out immediately or carried alone.
The Woodwives remind us that strong roots do not stop a tree from moving with the wind. They allow it to bend without breaking. So stay grounded!
Stay connected to what is true for you. Your values, your boundaries, your inner knowing, the people and places that bring you back to yourself. But allow yourself room to grow beyond the version of you that felt safe before.
There may be an opportunity, conversation, change of direction or new beginning in front of you. You do not need to have every step mapped out before you take the first one.
You have what you need for this season.
Affirmation: I stay rooted in who I am while allowing life to expand me.

Soulful Sunday Card of the Week: Freedom
This week feels like a reminder that you are not as stuck as you may be telling yourself you are.
There may be an area of your life where you have adapted, tolerated, waited, or convinced yourself that things simply cannot change. But Freedom is asking you to look again. Not everything needs to be overturned overnight, but something within you is ready to move.
Freedom can look like making a decision you have been avoiding. Saying no without over-explaining. Letting yourself want more. Giving yourself permission to try something different, even before you feel completely confident.
You may not have every answer yet, but you do have more choice, strength and possibility than you realise.
Ask yourself this week:
Where am I craving more space, truth or movement in my life?
And what is one small choice I can make that brings me closer to that freedom?

Soulful Sunday Message of the Week: New Moon in Gemini tomorrow… and some foxes
Lately I’ve had foxes coming into my energy space as spirit messengers.
You know how it goes… a best friend has a family of foxes that move into her back yard, your daughter’s school books have foxes in them in the same week, you see foxes printed on items at the local shop, a song plays and the title has foxes in it… the usual synchronistic banter the universe plays with you when a point is being made 😉
So when I sat with the energy of this New Moon in Gemini, the fox felt like the perfect messenger.
The fox has long been seen as a symbol of intelligence, adaptability, intuition and quiet strategy. In many traditions, foxes are known as clever guides — able to move through changing landscapes, sense what is unseen and know when to step forward and when to stay hidden.
And that feels very aligned with this New Moon.
Gemini energy is connected to communication, ideas, movement, curiosity and the way we think. It can bring fresh insight, new conversations, unexpected choices and, most excitingly, the opportunity to change direction.
But the fox reminds us that not every move needs to be loud. Sometimes the wisest change happens quietly.
The next step may not be about forcing an answer but paying attention to the signs, the patterns, the conversations and the little intuitive nudges that keep repeating.
Questions to ask yourself this New Moon:
- Where do I need to adapt instead of resist?
- Where have I outgrown an old way of thinking?
- What truth wants to be spoken?
And animals often teach us… where do I need to move more quietly, more wisely, and with greater trust in my instincts?
The fox does not waste energy trying to prove itself. It observes. It listens. It adjusts. It survives by being awake to what is happening around it.
So this week, don’t ignore the small signs.
The New Moon in Gemini opens the door for new thoughts, new choices and new intentions — but the fox reminds us to move with awareness, not impulse.
You don’t need to have the whole path figured out.
You only need to be honest about what is changing and clever enough to move with it.
Affirmation:
I trust my instincts. I listen deeply. I move with wisdom, clarity and grace.

Soulful Sunday Card of the Week: The Ceremony of Life
This week's card is a beautiful reminder that spirituality is not something we do only during meditation, prayer, full moons or when life feels easy. It is something we bring into the ordinary moments of everyday life.
Many people spend years searching for sacred experiences while overlooking the sacredness already present in their daily lives. The morning cup of coffee. A walk with the dog. A conversation with a loved one. Time spent creating, resting, laughing, learning or simply being.
This card asks a powerful question: If your life itself became the ceremony, what would change?
What if you approached each day with a little more presence? And stopped waiting for a special moment – and recognised that this moment is already special.
So often we postpone our joy until we achieve something, heal something, earn something or become something. Yet life is happening now.
The Ceremony of Life reminds us that we are not here to ‘get through our days’. We are here to experience them.
Maybe this week is less about doing more and more about becoming more present to what is already here. It’s time to ask yourself… where have you been rushing through life instead of experiencing it and how can you bring a little more sacredness into your every day routine.
This week, slow down enough to notice the beauty that already surrounds you. Life is not waiting to begin. It is happening now!
Affirmation
I choose to live my life with presence and devotion. I allow the sacred to move through my everyday moments.

Today we experience a rare Blue Moon in Sagittarius.
A Blue Moon is often spoken about as something that happens "once in a blue moon" and while astrologically it may not carry special significance, symbolically it invites us to pay attention. It asks us to look at the places in our lives where we've convinced ourselves something is impossible or settled for less than what our heart knows is available, maybe even where we've carried a burden for far longer than necessary.
Sagittarius is the seeker. The adventurer. The part of us that wants to grow beyond old limitations and see life from a higher perspective.
This moon asks:
What if there is a bigger picture you can't yet see? What if the obstacle is not the end of the story? What if the thing you've been struggling with is actually trying to teach you something valuable?
One of the strongest themes around this Blue Moon is forgiveness.
Not because what happened was acceptable or that someone deserves to be excused but because carrying it is detrimental to you.
Forgiveness does not always mean reconciliation or allowing harmful behaviour to continue. Sometimes forgiveness simply means releasing your energetic attachment to the wound so that it no longer defines your future.
This moon also reminds us to keep an open mind. There may be more possibilities available than you currently realise. Sometimes we become so focused on what isn't working that we stop noticing what is trying to emerge.
The energy of Sagittarius encourages us to lift our eyes from the problem and reconnect with the bigger vision.
This week, ask yourself:
• Where have I decided something is impossible?
• What old hurt am I ready to release?
• What would change if I viewed this situation from a higher perspective?
Under this rare Blue Moon, allow yourself to dream bigger than fear and allow yourself to heal what has been heavy. Life has the possibility to change in a moment ;-)
Affirmation: I release what no longer belongs to my future. I open my heart to healing, possibility and the wisdom of a higher perspective.
