One of my favourite things about bridal makeup is finding the perfect balance between elegant, long-lasting glam and making sure the bride still feels completely like herself. 🫶

Sometimes all a set of brows needs is a little refresh😍

This lovely client’s microblading was spruced up with powder brow shading to add more definition, depth, and balance while keeping everything looking natural and wearable. The added pixel shading helps rebuild shape where strokes have faded and gives a softer, more refined finish 🙌

Powder brows are perfect for enhancing existing work that’s lost structure over time, giving a cleaner, more polished result without going too bold.

Lip Neutralisation – What to Expect on your Lip Neutralisation Journey

Lip neutralisation is designed to correct cooler or darker undertones in the lips by introducing warm pigments to create a more balanced, even base for future lip blush results.

👄What you’ll see immediately after treatment:
Right after your session, the lips will often appear quite warm or orange-toned. This is completely intentional and part of the correction process — these warm tones are used to counteract blue, purple, or dark pigmentation in the lips.

Over the next 6 weeks, the colour will soften, settle, and neutralise into a more natural, even tone. ✨

👄How many sessions are needed?
Most clients need around 3–4 sessions, depending on how melanin-rich or cool-toned their natural lips are.

Some clients will require partial neutralisation (targeting only certain areas), while others may need a full lip neutralisation if the entire lip is uneven in tone.

👄Trust the process
Healing is gradual, and results build with each session. It’s important to trust your artist and the process — each layer is working towards creating the perfect balanced base for your final lip blush result.

My lovely client wanted to lighten the darker areas of her lips and soften the appearance of visible Fordyce spots.

For this treatment we used a partial lip neutralisation combined with lip blush to create a more even, balanced lip tone. Do you think we achieved the goal?? 🙌😍

What are Fordyce spots?
They are harmless, natural oil glands that can appear as small white/yellow bumps on the lips. Lip blush doesn’t remove them, but it can help camouflage their appearance by evening out the lip colour.
