After years of classes, projects, deadlines, early mornings and more studying than you probably care to remember, the final stretch is here.

As you begin your final exams this week, remember to take it one paper at a time. Back yourself, breathe, get some rest when you can, and trust the work you have already put in.

Now we are officially in festive territory.

The countdown is getting exciting, the end-of-year energy is building, and it is starting to feel like the season of sparkle, celebrations and sunshine is on its way.

Think twinkly lights, Christmas music, summery days, festive lunches, long evenings and all the little moments that make this time of year feel special.

The countdown is on, and we are here for every bit of the festive magic.

What is the first thing that gets you into the Christmas spirit?

Great hair does not only happen in the salon.

Your stylist can cut, colour, treat and style, but what happens between visits matters just as much.

The little things count.

Use products suited to your hair.
Turn the heat down when you can.
Do not skip conditioner.
Be gentle with wet hair.
Protect your colour.
And please, put the kitchen scissors down.

Healthy, beautiful hair is a partnership between what happens in the chair and what happens at home.

The kind of close where the year-end plans begin stacking up, the calendar starts looking full, and “there’s still loads of time” suddenly feels a little unconvincing.

Not quite tinsel and mince pies, but definitely the season of warmer days, busier weeks and that little thought in the back of your mind that Christmas is on its way.

What is your first sign that the festive season is creeping in?

Healthy hair does not happen by accident.

It’s the small things done consistently that make the biggest difference.

Using the right shampoo for your hair type.
Not overdoing the heat.
Keeping up with trims.
Adding moisture when your hair needs it.
And knowing when your hair needs a little extra help.

What is one hair care habit you never skip?

At this point, the year has definitely stopped walking and started running.

The shops are changing, diaries are filling up, summer is creeping in, and “we should do something before year end” is suddenly becoming an actual plan.

Christmas may still feel a little way off, but 14 Fridays really is not that many.
