📢 An Important Update from Under Construction Hair

After an incredible 23 years, the time has come for a new chapter.

Chantelle Honiball will officially be closing Under Construction Hair on 16 December.

Please note that the salon will not be operating on 16 December. Instead, we invite all our wonderful clients, friends, and family to join us as we celebrate two very special occasions:

🎉 A Farewell Celebration for Chantelle as she closes this unforgettable chapter.

🎉 The Grand Opening of the NEW UCH Salon, where Micka Badenhorst will proudly begin her journey as the new owner.

A Personal Message from Chantelle

"Twenty-three years ago, I opened the doors of Under Construction Hair with a dream, never imagining the incredible people I would meet or the memories we would create together.

As many of you know, this isn't just the closing of a salon, it is the closing of one of the biggest chapters of my life. I have made the difficult but exciting decision to leave the hair industry to pursue a new adventure and follow a lifelong passion: serving others by becoming a firefighter and helping save lives.

To every client who has ever walked through my door... thank you.

I am going to miss each and every one of you, especially those who became so much more than clients, you became family.

Thank you for trusting me over the years, for your loyalty, your friendship, and your unwavering support. It has been an absolute honour to be your hairdresser, but also so much more than that. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your lives, to help you feel beautiful, to celebrate your happiest moments, to wipe away tears during the hardest ones, to laugh until our stomachs hurt, and even to get upset together and jokingly want to go "donner" someone when life became overwhelming.

Those conversations, smiles, hugs, and memories are something I will carry with me forever.

The past 23 years have been filled with incredible highs, difficult lows, countless laughs, and unforgettable moments. I wouldn't change a single one of them.

Although it is sad to say goodbye, I leave knowing that UCH will continue its journey in the capable hands of Micka Badenhorst, and I am excited to see the salon continue to grow.

As I close this chapter, I begin another, one where I hope to continue making a difference in people's lives in a different way.
