Universal Safety Products

The U-MASK™ team was honoured to visit Sibanye-Stillwater Beatrix and engage with employees on what matters most: making it home safely every day.

Tired minds make mistakes. As year-end pressures build, take that extra second to identify risks, follow procedures, and protect yourself and your team.

Nothing is more important than getting home to the people who love you.

The U-MASK™ team recently visited Sibanye-Stillwater Siphumelele Shaft to share a simple but powerful reminder: nothing is more important than getting home safely.

As the year draws to a close and fatigue starts to creep in, stay focused, follow the process, and never become complacent. Someone is waiting for you at home.

Make every shift count. Make every shift safe.

Happy Birthday to our Spring Babies in September!

Your family needs you. Your colleagues need you. Your safety matters.

The U-MASK™ team had the privilege of visiting Implats Impala 11 Shaft as part of an ongoing safety awareness initiative.

The message was simple: Safety starts with you. Every decision you make, every procedure you follow, and every risk you avoid has an impact far beyond the workplace. You are important, and there are family members waiting for you to return home safely each day.

As we move through the final quarter of the year, fatigue, deadlines, and routine can sometimes lead to complacency. This is exactly when we need to be at our most vigilant. Take the extra moment to assess the risk, follow the correct procedures, and look out for one another.

Thank you to everyone at Impala 11 Shaft who participated and reinforced the message that zero harm begins with personal responsibility.

Good luck to all the speakers, presenters, exhibitors and delegates attending the SAIOH 2026 Annual Scientific Conference at Thaba Eco Hotel from 28 September to 1 October. This year' our theme,"Building Stronger Partnerships for Healthier Workplaces," highlights the importance of collaboration, innovation and shared responsibility in advancing occupational health and hygiene.

The team from Universal Safety Products (USP) is proud to be attending and engaging with industry leaders, practitioners and stakeholders. We look forward to strengthening existing relationships, building new partnerships, and contributing to meaningful conversations that support safer, healthier and more productive workplaces within our reach.

Wishing everyone an insightful conference, valuable networking opportunities, and thought-provoking discussions over the coming days.
