This beautiful head of hair had been growing out for a few months, giving us the perfect canvas to work with her natural grey 🩶
There was however a little history hiding underneath 👀
🖤 Black box colour from about a year ago as well as
🌿 Henna from about 3 years ago, which meant getting through those old layers on the ends was no easy task.
Our goal was to enhance her grey, blend it and make it look completely intentional and honestly… look at that result 🤩 Soft dimension, beautiful movement and those natural greys now feeling like part of the colour rather than something to try hide!
Grey enhancement > grey coverage 🤍
Every head of hair is different especially when there’s previous box colour or henna involved. A consultation is essential before taking on colour correction work like this ✨

As we head towards the end of the year, our December appointment book is filling quickly and we are already nearing capacity.
If you’d like your hair looking its best for the festive season, we recommend securing your appointment now to avoid disappointment.
Whether you’d like to book your first grey blending session, your maintenance appointment, cut or treatment, we’d love to see you before the year ends!
6 weeks later — toned, refreshed & still beautifully blended!
Grey blending is a journey, especially when we’re gradually working through old colour.
The goal is to keep the hair looking natural and dimensional while allowing those beautiful greys to become part of the colour.
Maintenance, not a reset 🤍
Grey blending doesn’t always mean bleach!
This client had been using box colour for some time and wanted to keep things as natural as possible while softening the warmth and allowing her natural grey to shine through ✨
🤍 No bleaching was needed for this appointment.
Instead, we used a demi-permanent toner at her natural level to gently neutralise the unwanted warmth without covering her natural grey.
Sometimes the best result is the one that works with your natural hair, not against it 🤍

Some of our recent transformations 🤩
Nice to see the pics on arrival and the results side by side 🩶
No AI or filters used. Real clients. Real pictures ♥️
This lovely lady came to us after years of box colouring her hair. She saw our posts on social media and knew she needed an appointment with a grey blending specialist 🩶
She’s actually only around 20–40% grey, mainly through her temples, sideburns and parting — which is where her regrowth was becoming the most noticeable.
Our goal was to blend her grey beautifully into her natural colour so her grow-out will be much softer and less obvious. We focused on her problem areas, brought her natural depth back throughout the hair and worked on eliminating the unwanted warmth from the previous colour. We then toned her natural grey with a soft ash/gold balance to complement her skin tone, keeping the result natural and flattering rather than overly silver.
First appointment, no breakage, healthy hair and a very happy client! 🥰
Grey blending is a journey, especially when we’re working over box colour — so we take it safely, one appointment at a time. ✨

RIP Dolly Parton 💛⭐️💐
Smoky Grey — First Step 🩶
This client came to us with a very specific goal: she wanted to introduce a smoky grey effect into her hair, but she wasn’t ready to fully embrace her natural grey just yet.
She also didn’t want to be in the salon every 3 weeks colouring her regrowth.
Her hair had previously been coloured dark, and that artificial pigment was extremely stubborn to lift.
She eventually wants to move towards a brighter, softer grey with highlights, so we decided not to rush the process.
🩶We worked with fine baby lights to begin breaking up the darker colour.
🩶We added a smoky grey toner over the lighter pieces to create a soft grey effect.
🩶We used a demi-permanent root melt to softly blur the regrowth.
🩶We’re moving away from permanent colour so future appointments can be more manageable and we can gradually lift through the remaining artificial pigment.
🩶K18 was used throughout the lightening process to help protect the integrity of the hair.
🩶Finished with a good trim and a Biosense treatment to restore softness and shine.
The goal is to create a softer grow-out, reduce that harsh regrowth line and gradually work towards a brighter grey without compromising the condition of the hair.
🤍 First session towards the goal — not the final destination.
When you’re working with previous dark colour, patience is part of the process. Sometimes the healthiest and most beautiful result is the one we build gradually.
BLACK BOX DYE → GREY BLEND 🩶
This one was a challenge… but SO worth it!
This stunning client came to us after years of using black box colour, completely over constant root touch ups and the harsh contrast between her dark lengths and her beautiful, snow-white natural regrowth.
Because her hair was previously coloured black, we couldn’t simply lift it out and expect a perfect silver result. Box colour + bleach = a process! 😅
For her first sitting, we worked with extremely fine baby lights to gently break through the artificial pigment and soften that strong demarcation line between the black and her natural white.
We managed to lift some of the previously coloured hair all the way to around a level 8, creating enough lighter pieces to start connecting her natural grey with the rest of her hair.
And honestly… for a first session, look at that blend! 😍
This isn’t about rushing the process, it’s about creating a beautiful, wearable transition while protecting the integrity of the hair — and gradually getting her closer to her natural grey goal.
✨ First sitting ✔️
✨ Demarcation softened ✔️
✨ Black broken up ✔️
✨ Natural grey starting to shine through ✔️
And this is only the beginning 🤍
Grey blending is a journey, especially when we’re working through years of box colour — but with the right plan, patience and technique, it can be BEAUTIFUL 🤩
This is not just another hair appointment, this is freedom 🩶✨
This gorgeous Zumba Instructor first came to us 7 weeks ago tired of touching up her roots every 2-3 weeks!
🩶 The best part?
After 7 weeks, there was no harsh regrowth line! The only maintenance required was a silver toner and a precision cut to keep her bob looking sharp.💇♀️
Grey blending isn’t about hiding your greys—it’s about working with them to create a softer, lower-maintenance colour that grows out beautifully.
If you’re also tired of colouring your roots every 3-4 weeks, grey blending could be the perfect solution for you!
