Colour me chiq

Colour correction with a very different goal in mind 🤍🩶
Just to clarify, the previous colour work was not done by me.
This beautiful client came to my chair feeling really unhappy and lacking confidence in her hair. She had spent a considerable amount on trying to achieve her desired look, but unfortunately, the result still wasn’t what she had envisioned.
Her goal was never to be blonde. She wanted a deeper grey with soft, fine silver highlights — but there was a lot happening underneath the existing colour, including uneven tones, warmth, previous bleed marks and compromised areas also history of box colour .

Because her hair had already been through multiple colour services,going back in with more heavy highlighting simply wasn’t the answer. We needed to work strategically with what was already there while prioritising the condition of her hair.
For our first sitting, we:
✨ Broke up the existing foil work with carefully placed lowlights
✨ Neutralised unwanted red and warm undertones with deeper ash tones
✨ Created a softer root melt to blend previous bleed marks
✨ Added a silver tone to bring the overall colour closer to her desired grey
✨ Worked with the existing blonde rather than putting her hair through another unnecessary round of lightening
The goal wasn't to fix everything in one appointment. Colour correction is a process, especially when you're working with a complicated colour history.
But the biggest win? She left feeling confident in her hair again. 🤍
This is only sitting one of her grey/silver journey, so we're going to take our time, protect the integrity of her hair and gradually refine the colour.

Eight weeks after having her colour done elsewhere, my client came to me because her hair wasn't taking her in the direction she wanted.
The goal wasn't to start over—it was to correct the canvas and get her hair moving towards her dream blonde.
We softened the harsh regrowth, corrected the uneven colour, and created a much cleaner, brighter blonde while keeping the hair looking healthy.
Colour corrections have definitely become one of the things I'm known for, and I genuinely love taking hair that's gone off track and putting it back on the right path. Every correction is different, but seeing the transformation is always worth it. ✨🤍
