BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
The idea originated from an experience I had when counselling at my church one dusty, windy afternoon. A car came racing into the church yard, a woman got out and knocked on the door. When I opened, she asked me whether there was a quiet corner where she could sit. She was visibly distressed and I knew she needed time to collect herself. I showed her in and left her alone, praying for her while I carried on counselling. After about half an hour she came to me and told me that that quiet space had prevented her from committing suicide. We want to create a haven of peace and tranquillity where troubled people can turn to when the daily stress becomes too much to bear. We intend targeting young girls and teach them to dress elegantly and to remember that they have more to offer than just their bodies. Charity is high on our list. We want to adopt Children’s Homes on a rotation basis and get our clients involved in their lives through various activities. We will offer short courses:
• Hat making (millinery)
• Basic sewing
• Knitting
• Cookery
• Crochet
• Parenting skills
• Understanding your teenager etc
Very little rehabilitation takes place in prisons and we want to get involved in teaching:
• Etiquette
• Dress sense
• Make up
• Deportment
• Some job skills
• How to present yourself in an interview
• Compiling a CV
Feeling good about yourself is so important and we want to teach people to value themselves, to become reliable citizens and worthy members of their communities. Jesus is the only way and the only answer for society’s dilemmas and the current chaos in the world. MARKETING:
