Becoming More Effective by Pursuing Wholeness in Body, Soul, and Spirit
Good morning everyone. I just felt to share what Abba has placed on my heart.
We are living in an era of knowledge and self-help. When you open social media, it is all about self-help and self-care. While this can be important, it can also become confusing and self-consuming. I believe that as the world increases in “self-knowledge” and becomes more self-focused, it is important for us to become more and more consumed with Truth — the Word of God and His presence — and to be guided by the voice of the Holy Spirit.
The Word says that in the last days people will become “lovers of self” (2 Timothy 3:1–2), and that is what we are seeing with all the “self-help” tips and courses.
Health and wellness is not about “self.” According to the Word, it is about living in wholeness so that we can make an impact for the Kingdom — on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10).
Abba has taken us on a journey of becoming more aware of what we feed our bodies, how we allow the Spirit to care for our souls, and how to grow our spirit man by consuming the Word of God. If we want to live in wholeness, we have to take care of all three. Remember, it is not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord (Zechariah 4:6).
A whole and complete life is found when we care for body, soul, and spirit — because God created us as one living being, not separate parts. The Word reminds us that “your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit” (1 Corinthians 6:19–20), calling us to honor Him through how we live, eat, rest, and move.
Always remember, true strength does not come from physical care alone; our souls are restored when we draw near to God, for “He restores my soul” (Psalm 23:3).
Just as our bodies need nourishment daily, our spirits need the Word — because “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4).
When we feed our spirits with Scripture, guard our thoughts, and steward our physical health, we begin to walk in the fullness God intended. John prayed, “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers” (3 John 1:2).
I pray this prayer over everyone in this group — may this become your revelation and Truth.
A complete life is not perfection — it is alignment: a body cared for, a soul at peace, and a spirit rooted deeply in God’s Word.
Abba led us to buy a farm where we are now farming with herbs to make herbal teas and starting to produce our own ingredients for our beauty products. The purpose of this group is to share about our products and to share our hearts around wholeness in body, soul, and spirit.
Always remember that our bodies are the carrier — the temple of His presence — and we must always pursue His presence more than we pursue outward looks and beauty. Health starts from the inside. A healthy soul reflects a healthy body, and a strong spirit man reflects His glory over your soul and body — His presence manifesting through you.
That is why we say:
Beauty from the inside out.

How to Use
Apply the oil directly to the scalp and roots on dry or slightly damp hair.

Distribute through the mid-lengths and ends of the hair.
Leave on for 2–6 hours (or overnight if desired), then cleanse with a mild shampoo.

🌿 Why Cancerbush Tea Is Being Talked About for Women’s Wellness
Cancerbush tea is an herbal infusion traditionally prepared from the leaves and stems of Sutherlandia frutescens, an indigenous South African medicinal plant long valued for its broad spectrum of health benefits. It’s often described as an adaptogenic tonic that may help the body cope with stress, support general well-being, and promote digestive comfort.
Key Active Compounds in Cancerbush
Cancerbush contains several bioactive phytochemicals that contribute to its traditional and emerging uses:
✔️ L-Canavanine
A non-protein amino acid unique to this plant.
Traditionally linked with antioxidant and immune-supportive properties.

✔️ D-Pinitol
A sugar alcohol with anti-inflammatory and blood-sugar-supporting properties.
In other contexts, pinitol has been studied for its role in modulating glucose metabolism — potentially helpful for energy balance.

✔️ Gamma-Aminobutyric Acid (GABA)
A neurotransmitter associated with calming the nervous system.
May contribute to relief of stress-related symptoms, which are common during menopause.

✔️ Triterpenoids & Flavonoids
Plant compounds with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant actions, which support cellular health.
sciencedirect.com
Adaptogenic Support for Stress & Mood
Cancerbush is considered an adaptogen — a herb that may help the body manage stress and support emotional well-being. GABA and other compounds may contribute to mood balance and relaxation, which can help with irritability, sleep challenges, and anxiety experienced in menopause.

Anti-Inflammatory & Antioxidant Effects
Inflammation tends to increase with age and hormonal changes. The flavonoids and triterpenoids found in cancerbush may help moderate inflammatory processes, which can support overall comfort and energy levels.

Digestive Comfort & Appetite Support
Traditionally, a small amount taken before meals acts as a bitter digestive tonic, believed to stimulate digestive juices, support appetite, and aid gut comfort — all of which are valuable for overall gut health.

How to Use Cancerbush as a Tea
Classic Tea Preparation
Boil fresh, filtered water.
Add 1–2 teaspoons of dried cancerbush leaves per cup.
Pour the hot water over the leaves.
Cover and steep for 5–10 minutes.
Strain and enjoy warm or cooled.
Tips
Start with 1 cup per day, especially if you’re new to bitter herbal teas.
It has a naturally bitter taste — pairing with mild honey or mint can make it more palatable.
Adding Cancerbush to Smoothies
You can incorporate cancerbush into smoothies for convenience and gentle digestive support:
Smoothie Usage
Brew a stronger infusion (2 teaspoons per 250–300 ml) and let it cool.
Use the cooled infusion as the liquid base instead of water or milk.
Blend with ingredients like:
Banana or mango (for sweetness)
Greek yogurt or plant protein
Ginger or turmeric (for gut comfort and anti-inflammatory effects)
Berries (for antioxidant benefit)
This method maintains the tea’s benefits while masking bitterness with other flavours
