Hello Ladies!! Here are the 7 Tips for Heat Styling Your hair without the damage:

Tip No. 5 😀 – Before you begin blow drying your beautiful hair, Ladies, please make sure that you have at least air dried or towel dried it by roughly 80 percent and don't forget to apply those styling products before you start . Blow drying your hair from wet will only further break and damage the hair.
Bonus tip: Skip the towel rub and press your hair dry with an old Cotton T-shirt. Your hair will be softer, shinier, and healthier for it! ❤️❤️❤️

To ensure a smooth process… Roughly dry your hair first using your fingers and the blow-dryer on a medium heat setting. This will get rid of the remaining water on your strands. FINALLY, Get out your brush and turn up the blow-dryer heat to shape and smooth as your last step, always apply your heat protector prior to rough drying your hair . At this point, you can further minimize damage by directing the blow-dryer nozzle down the hair shaft, toward the ends, this cuts down on direct heat applied to the hair, as well as seals the cuticle shut to prevent frizz and to boost shine.

As we mentioned in the last step… Always use a heat protectant spray as suggested by your stylist 😊 Using a heat protectant will make the blow-drying process a whole lot easier resulting in shinier, more flexible, soft and tangle free hair.

The sprays seal and contain the moisture in your hair which results in shinier, more flexible, soft and tangle free hair with a lower amount of dry ends that break off and drop all over your bathroom floor, you know exactly what we're on about 😂.

Tip No. 3 – Have you ever tugged at your hair with a brush while blow-drying—or yanked a flat iron through frizzy strands to maximize smoothness? You’re not alone.

Heat styling can be pretty tough on your hair, therefore, it’s important to be kinder in all other styling tasks. When detangling, start at the ends of your hair using a professional detangling brush (as suggested by your stylist) then slowly, carefully work up to your roots.

Remember, wet hair is three times weaker and thus more likely to break. If you have finer hair and/ or blonde hair, this percentage increases. When towel drying your hair, gently squeeze the moisture out of the hair. Avoid vigorous towel drying.
To make the detangling process easier, use a professional detangling lotion (as suggested by your stylist) to minimise damage and breakage to hair whilst it is wet.

Most professional masks only take 2 minutes to pe*****te so just Swop it with your conditioner once a week. Always remember to not apply anything near your tapes other than your shampoo as this may cause the tapes to slide out. Tapes may also slide out if there's any tugging on the hair extensions while the hair is wet or damp.
