✨ Lash Artist Education: Placement Matters ✨
This close-up says it all. 👀
Beautiful fans alone don’t create beautiful lash sets, correct placement does.
In this image you can see why isolation and placement are so important:
🤍 Every extension should be attached to one natural lash only.
🤍 The base should sit flush against the natural lash with no lifting or twisting.
🤍 A small distance should be left from the eyelid (around 0.5–1mm) to avoid irritation.
🤍 Proper direction keeps the lash line looking neat, fluffy, and seamless.
When placement is off, clients may experience:
• Poor retention
• Twisted or crossed lashes
• Discomfort or poking
• Damage to the natural lashes from stickies
When placement is correct, you get:
✨ Better retention
✨ Healthier natural lashes
✨ A cleaner lash line
✨ Comfortable wear for your client
Remember: Retention starts long before your adhesive cures. It starts with isolation, attachment, and placement.
The tiny details are what separate a good lash artist from a great one. 💕
