I ran through some shops at the V&Awaterfront and Whale Coast Mall in Hermanus recently to see what’s in store for us this Summer. I love the candy floss shades and the fact that red is still stealing the limelight!

As soon as the cold fronts have left we’re going to start having fun! Hang in there😅.

A bit of .
Every woman has a story: the ups and downs, the sadness and sorrow inbetween the joy and highlights. Mine has restoration, eternal hope and peace in it as well as the Prince of Peace changed my life forever.

May you also have that void filled and your grief comforted as only He can.🙏🏻

Women’s day today looked different from the past 10 years, a different town and province is now our home. I didn’t have to plan for a speaker outfit this weekend 😉just thankful for my raincoat from French Sidewalk Cafe in this weather. ☔️ ☺️

In the meantime I’m looking forward to September and October when I’ll have the wonderful opportunity to speak at events in the Kalahari and Johannesburg. It remains a passion.

And I really hope you had some 🍰 this weekend to celebrate being a woman! 🥰

Yes, read that again. Contrary to what culture or social media tell you, there are SO MANY kinds of pretty.

About yesterday…
This outfit started out as my work-from-home look… and ended up being my “meeting a longtime friend for coffee” outfit. ☕️🤍

It reminded me that we often overthink getting dressed.

Sometimes the pieces that don’t seem like they belong together create the most interesting outfits. The only way to know is to try them on!

So before you put something back because it feels a little unexpected, give it a chance. You might discover a new favourite combination hiding in your own wardrobe.

That’s one of the joys of wearing what you already have. ✨

Well… I did it! ✂️

I finally cut my hair short.

I’ve been thinking about it for ages, and then one day I just decided to stop overthinking and do it.

It made me wonder how many things we keep postponing because we’re waiting for the “right” time. The truth is, that perfect moment rarely arrives.

So here’s my little encouragement for you: if there’s something you’ve been wanting to try, new hairstyle, a hobby, a class, a trip, or even a new chapter, the time is now. 🤍

I'm still getting used to it, but loving the change.

I’d love to know… what’s one thing you’ve been wanting to do but haven’t done yet?

I wonder what would happen if women did this every day this month?

There’s a real person and a real life behind every outfit you see in my posts. On Monday I was in tracksuit pants and a jersey and I forgot to take a photo!
Uggh and tax return admin also kept me busy.

May your outfits and stories come together beautifully this weekend! 🫶🏼

Getting dressed doesn’t have to feel like another chore.
One of the ways I keep it fun is by creating unexpected outfit combinations. I love looking at my wardrobe with fresh eyes and asking, What if I wore this differently?

A Summer denim shirt as an extra layer in Winter? Absolutely! 🤍 It adds texture, creates interest, and helps me get so much more wear out of the clothes I already own.
Often, it’s not about buying something new, it’s about styling what you already have in a new way.

What’s one item in your wardrobe that you only wear in one season? Maybe it’s time to challenge that. 😊

Outfit details: everything old, gifted and only the sneakers were bought this year.

Glory to the King of Kings who sits on the throne forever.

On his robe and on his thigh he has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords.
