I’ve been a lot quieter this year because, if I’m honest, 2026 has been one of the toughest years I’ve ever had to face.
It’s felt like one challenge after another. From opening a new space, expanding my clientele, and managing a new salon that unfortunately didn’t work out, to losing one of my closest and most precious family members. Somewhere along the way, I slipped into a place of quiet depression, with very few people even knowing. It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to pull myself out of.
As I step into the second half of 2026, my mind, body, and soul feel so much clearer. I’m focused again, I’m healing, and I’m ready to conquer whatever comes next.
To my incredible husband, thank you. ❤️ Without you standing beside me every step of the way, I honestly don’t know if I would’ve found my way out of that dark place. Your love, patience, and unwavering support carried me when I couldn’t carry myself.
And to my best friend of over 20 years (damn… I can’t believe I just said that! 😅🤯), thank you for checking in on me every single day. There wasn’t a day that went by without your name popping up in my notifications. 😂 You never stopped showing up for me, even from a distance. Your messages and calls reminded me that I was never alone, and that is something I’ll never forget. I love you dearly. 🤍 This is what true friendship looks like.
