I have always mentioned that gardens in chingola are breathtaking.🤩

This is Mrs Simukoko's Garden, I have always described it as a garden that is traumatisingly beautiful because everytime i visit her garden i feel so overwhelmed with how lovely it is and always leave with wealth of knowledge and obviously traumatised because i always want to do so so much more than i can manage..

DO HYDRANGEAS BLOOM ALL YEAR ROUND?

Yes Hydrangeas bloom all year round in zambia depending on when you prune them ,with a main flush of flowers blooming just after winter (August in our zambian climate).💥

In colder climates Hydrangeas shade off all the leaves and become dormant while in ours they may shade some leaves and still be in bloom but stop/reduce growing bigger in size.💫

Hydrangea care tips in winter
-Water often as they love water (but you can skip a day).
-Mulch to keep them warm and moist
-Fertilise
-Apply insecticide as need arises,Hydrangeas can be attacked by fungus(often in rain season),thrips, and spidermites(in dryer months).

They may be smaller than usual this season as they slowly grow,but will grow rapidly in summer, therefore now is best season in my opinion to buy and plant these beauties. (Every season is ideal for planting🚀)
