In the midst of high cost of living and also a high cost of our staple food nshima, did you know sweet potatoes are very nutritious and you can cook them in many different ways? They can be mashed and mixed with veggies to enjoy a very satisfying meal with a relish of your choice.

This is our mother's sweet potatoe field doing so well and grown organically.

You can plant onions in the rain season,but you've to follow a very good spray program and also scout for diseases very early on.

We had these seedlings in the ground for two months so that they can harden and be able to survive the heavy rains we've been experiencing. Chose an area where it's not water logged so that your onions dont rot instead. This portion mostly floods,so we raised the beds to a point where the water doesn't reach.

It's that time of the year when all farmers are preparing for December and also for the rainy season. The time is now to do;

💥seeds/nursery preps
Everything must atleast be planted by 15th October to target December or Christmas sales😊.

We've done our nursery of vikima Cabbages and we're now preparing land for the same. Next is preparing land for green beans. What are you planning to plant for this coming season?
