As you come out to support the drive for a cleaner city through this 10K run, we want you looking as dripped out as the city we’re becoming. 😎

Not all socks need to be loud. But all socks need personality, even an attitude, because, otherwise, no one would notice them. Attached is the canvas from which our City10K socks are being made.

At City, we introduced the concept of putting socks in race packs to the Zambian running market as a way of giving runners one more canvas to capture moments. Like medals, they are meant to be part of your memory of the race.

Now because personalities have names, we are looking for a name for these City10K socks and we’re stuck. What do we call them?
Semux?
Iwe Doba?
Or Petro Muchigubu?

You tell us.
Because these socks have an attitude.
They just need a name. 🧦

Whether you’re an individual or a corporate, we want you to get involved.

HOW DO YOU GET INVOLVED?

Register for 𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗬𝟭𝟬𝗞.

Get a group of buddies together. Pool your money, buy a bin or bins, and donate them.

Alternatively, get your HR to register your team — and your boss too. Get your corporate to donate bins.

Everyone must take part!

A portion of the Executive Walk on race day will incorporate a 𝘽𝙞𝙣 𝙒𝙖𝙡𝙠 — a symbolic walk where executives and civic-minded leaders will wheel their branded bins from Cairo Road Northend (Toyota) to Central Park, near the Post Office.

Bring your buddies.
Bring your team.
Buy a bin — or bins.
Brand them if you so wish.

A cleaner Lusaka won’t happen by wishing for it.

We all have to make it happen.
