BREASTFEEDING AWARENESS WEEK

🤱🏾 Breastfeeding is a skill that both mum and baby learn together.

It may not feel easy at first—and that’s okay.

A good position and a good latch can make breastfeeding more comfortable, help your baby feed well, and reduce sore ni***es.

Remember to:
đź’— Hold your baby close.
💗 Make sure your baby’s mouth is wide open before latching.
đź’— Eat healthy meals and drink plenty of water to support your energy and milk production.

There is no special diet for breastfeeding mothers. A balanced diet with plenty of fluids is all your body needs to nourish both you and your baby.

If you’re experiencing pain, your baby isn’t feeding well, or you’re worried about your milk supply, don’t struggle alone. Our team is here to help.

📞 Call or WhatsApp 0761539234 to book a breastfeeding support consultation.

BREASTFEEDING AWARENESS WEEK

🤱🏾 Supporting breastfeeding mothers benefits everyone.

Returning to work shouldn’t mean choosing between a career and feeding your baby.

In Zambia, the law provides nursing mothers with paid nursing breaks for up to six months after delivery, helping them continue breastfeeding while working.

A breastfeeding-friendly workplace is an investment in healthier babies, happier mothers, and stronger families.

Let’s support working mothers—because every baby deserves the best start in life. 💗

BREASTFEEDING AWARENESS WEEK
🤱🏾 A hungry baby shouldn’t have to wait.

Breastfeeding is a normal and natural part of caring for a baby. Sometimes, mothers are away from home when their baby becomes hungry—and feeding in public is simply responding to their baby’s needs.

As a community, we can make breastfeeding mothers feel supported instead of judged.

A smile, a kind word, or simply respecting a mother’s choice to feed her baby can make all the difference.

This World Breastfeeding Awareness Week, let’s create a society where every mother feels comfortable nourishing her child whenever and wherever it is needed.

đź’— Support mothers.
đź’— Support babies.
đź’— Support breastfeeding.

🤱🏾 World Breastfeeding Awareness Week

Breastfeeding is one of the best gifts a mother can give her baby. It provides the perfect nutrition, strengthens a baby’s immune system, and creates a special bond that lasts a lifetime.

Here in Zambia, encouragingly, about 64% of babies under 6 months are exclusively breastfed, and 68% of babies are put to the breast within the first hour after birth. While this is good progress, there is still room for improvement so that every baby gets the healthiest possible start in life.

This week, let’s celebrate and support every breastfeeding mother. A little encouragement can make a big difference.

Happy World Breastfeeding Awareness Week! đź’—

Meet Our Superhero – Mrs. Auxiliar Kombe Chiteula Auxiliar Martins 💗

Auxiliar is a wife, mother, entrepreneur, baker, encourager and woman of faith whose life is deeply rooted in prayer, family and service to others.

The only girl in a family of four, she describes herself first as a daughter of the Most High God. Trained in nursing and a helper by calling, Auxiliar has always had a heart for people. Today, she is also a businesswoman who bakes and sells a variety of items for both women and men.

She loves singing for God, cooking, baking, encouraging others and perhaps most importantly - listening to people's stories. She believes strongly in community, second chances and being the kind of friend who will sit beside you when life gets difficult and help you find the next step forward.

Her passion is simple but powerful: "to see people healed and restored, walking out of shame and into purpose."

And behind this woman of faith and encouragement is her own story a story of *pregnancy, uterine fibroids and hope*. Today, she is courageously sharing that journey so another woman can know that she is not alone.
