So many impediments including time poverty. Women in Zimbabwe lose 10.8 hours of their time in care giving. Yes, care-giving alone, takes an average woman's close to half of her day. Vakomana!!!! Zimbabweans, from another research, 94% of Zimbabwean women, infant, hanzi are satisfied with their.care giving responsibilities. Amazing!! So, when and how do they make time for other duties, like kungwavha-ngwavha?

I didn't know that women and girls globally spend more than 200 000 000 hours searching and fetching water, daily!!! What a scary statistics?. In my small arithmetic world, I sat down with a calculator trying to really understand these figures, so I said, OK, so how many days would these translate to? I think I found 8 333 days. Then I asked myself how many months are we losing, I grabbed my calculator again, I think the figure came to some 23 years. My heart sank within my stomach.

Water is supposed to be such a basic human right, so what does it mean if we are losing 23 years a day, simply by looking for this resource? If water is made available, women and girls could use this time towards economic activities.
