Exciting ANNOUNCEMENT!!! Today I had it confirmed that I now have wrap around child care. As many of my clients know it’s been a long time coming 🙈

My new working hours are as follows from 29th September;
MONDAY: CLOSED
TUESDAY: 09:30 - 17:00
WEDNESDAY: 09:30 - 17:00
THURSDAY: 09:30 - 14:30
FRIDAY: CLOSED
SATURDAY: 10:00 - 16:00 (twice a month)

This means Tuesday & Wednesday afternoons have been added to my booking system. Be quick as these spaces won’t last long 💕💕

Woweee what a month. From battling the boys having chicken pox, beach days, trips down to England visiting family, our wedding anniversary and then back to school..

As the summer comes to a close and we head into Autumn, I’m so excited for the colder, cosy months ahead 🍁🍂

Would you believe me if I told you the hair I’m holding in the second slide is actually the same shade! Just 9months apart.

Let’s talk about hair extension discolouration and why it happens..

☀️ UV EXPOSURE
Just like our natural hair, extensions are affected by the sun. UV rays can break down artificial colour molecules and oxidise the hair, often making blondes appear warmer, brassier or more golden over time.

🧴 SUN CREAM
This is a BIG one that many people don’t realise! Some sun creams contain ingredients that can transfer onto the hair. When combined with heat, sunlight and repeated exposure, they can cause blonde extensions to develop unwanted yellow, peachy or even slightly pink/orange tones particularly around the face and ends.

🔥 HEAT
Regular use of straighteners, curlers and high temperature styling can gradually affect the colour and condition of extension hair. The higher the temperature and the more frequently it’s used, the more stress we’re putting on the hair.

💦 HARD WATER & MINERALS
Minerals in your water particularly copper and iron can build up on extension hair. Over time this can create dullness, unwanted warmth and changes in tone that you simply wouldn’t expect from the original colour.

🧴 HAIR PRODUCTS
Oils, coloured shampoos, styling products and even certain ingredients in everyday haircare can build up or interact with the hair. Extensions don’t receive the natural oils from your scalp in the same way as your own hair, so product build-up can become particularly noticeable.

⏳ TIME & WEAR
And finally… sometimes it’s simply down to the fact that extensions are being worn and exposed to everyday life! Washing, styling, sleeping, swimming, holidays, the sun and everything in between all contribute to gradual changes in the hair.

This is why extension aftercare really matters. The way you look after your extensions can have a huge impact on how they look and feel throughout their lifespan.

And the best part? With the right colour correction and some TLC, we can sometimes bring that hair right back to life. 🤎✨

𝐓𝐎 𝐇𝐄 𝐇𝐄𝐑.. 𝐈 𝐇𝐀𝐃 𝐓𝐎 𝐁𝐄 𝐇𝐄𝐑 💕

I started my hair career at just 13 years old.
Long before I knew where life would take me, I already knew what I loved.

As a little girl, I’d sit and play with my Barbie’s hair for hours. I loved the Spice Girls, my favourite colour was pink, and somehow… hair was always part of my world. 🎀

Fast forward to now, and I’m a mom, a military wife, and a business owner.

If I’m honest, 99% of the time I’ve felt like I’ve had to put my career on hold. Moving, deployments, family life, motherhood… there have been so many moments where my own dreams have had to take a back seat.

But that little girl never really went anywhere!!

She’s still here.
Still obsessed with hair.
Still dreaming.
Still creating.

And maybe that’s why this means so much to me.

Because I didn’t just become her…

I had to be her first. 🤍

From playing with Barbie’s hair at 5, to picking up my first hairbrush at 13, to building the career and business I have today.

She would be pretty proud. 🎀
