Hunters Hair Lounge

🎄 Christmas is going to be a little different this year…

As some of you know, every year we have our Christmas Duck Window Treasure Hunt and, of course, our Elf makes his annual visit.

This year we thought we’d do something a little different and spread the Christmas magic around the town and our local estates ❤️

During the week before his visit, our Elf will be dropping off some of his little elves in local windows, each with a positive message for the children to find.

Then on Sunday 29th November from 11.30am–12.30pm, our big Elf will be at Hunters Hair Lounge, where the children can come and see him, have a photo and receive a little Christmas gift 🎁

Afterwards, he’ll be heading out around the town and local estates, popping into a few places to surprise the children and say hello 👋🎄

If you’re a local business and would be happy to display one of our little elves, or you’re open on the Sunday and would like a visit from the big Elf himself, please drop us a message. ❤️

And if your child struggles with busy places or loud noises and would find a little doorstep visit easier, please message us and we’ll do our best to arrange one while our Elf is out and about. ❤️

It’s all about giving the kids a little extra magic, spreading some positive messages and making some lovely Christmas memories. 🎄✨

Spread a little kindness this Christmas ❤️

22 years later and I still love going to work every day. Not many people can say that.

And I don’t take that for granted.

Hairdressing has given me so much and now, as a salon owner, I feel like it's my job is to make sure that passion carries on.

I’m still learning every day. How to lead better. How to create opportunities. How to build a business where people can grow, be challenged, make mistakes and become bloody brilliant at what they do.

I want the next generation to know the truth , I'm not here to sugar coat it..this industry is bloody hard work.

But it’s also one of the most rewarding careers you could ever have.

Because hairdressing has never been just about hair. It’s about people.

And that’s what I want to protect, build on and pass forward. 🤍

✨ Our new website is live! ✨

We’ve been having a few issues with our online booking recently, so we decided it was time for a fresh start and a brand-new website!

You can still book through our usual online booking system, but if you’re having any issues, please try booking through our new website instead. 🫶🏻

Please have a little look and let us know what you think we’d genuinely love to hear your feedback. 🫶🏻

As many of you know, I reduced my hours slightly over the summer holidays. This gave me a little extra time to catch up on some of the behind-the-scenes business things that can easily get pushed to one side when the salon is busy!

One of those was our new website, and I’ve also been working on some really exciting training sessions that we’ve got coming up. ✨

A huge thank you to all of my lovely clients who have had to wait a little longer than usual for their appointments, and to my amazing team for holding the fort and covering for me when I haven’t been in the salon. ❤️

I’ll be back to my normal hours this week and looking forward to seeing you all!

Thank you, as always, for your patience, support and understanding.
