Before we begin any cosmetic treatment course, we take a closer look at your scalp and skin during the assessment to make sure the target area is stable and will tolerate the microneedling and topical therapy.

🔬 Using microscopy at x1000 magnification we’re able to better understand your skin and scalp

🩺 We explain what we see. Not medical jargon. Real language about what’s happening, why it’s happening, and what that means for what we can and can’t do.

The consultation is where we build the actual plan together — not a sales pitch, but a real conversation about what’s possible for you.

Here’s exactly what happens when you come in:

☑️ WE LISTEN
You tell us what’s going on — hair loss, skin texture, what you’ve tried, what you’re worried about, what you actually want. No rush, no judgment.

☑️ WE TAKE A CLOSER LOOK
If it’s scalp, we use a scalp camera (trichoscopy) so we can both see what we’re talking about. If it’s skin, we magnify it so we can see texture and condition clearly. No guessing.

☑️ WE EXPLAIN WHAT WE SEE
Not medical jargon. Real language about what’s happening, why it’s happening, and what that means for what we can and can’t do.

☑️ WE TALK ABOUT YOUR TIMELINE & EXPECTATIONS
Not what you hope for — what’s realistic based on what we actually see. If it’s going to take six months, we say six months. If we’re not sure you’re a good fit, we say that too.

☑️ WE TALK ABOUT THE PLAN, STEP BY STEP
What we’re doing, when, how often, what to do at home, what to expect, what’s normal and what’s not.

This service is cosmetic and aesthetic. For any medical concern, talk to your GP.

Marketing has its own language. Most of it means nothing.

“Medical-grade” — there’s no legal definition. Anyone can print it on a bottle.

“Clinically tested” — that could mean tested on twelve people in a lab. Not proven it works on you.

“Dermatologist-approved” — approved by one dermatologist, somewhere, once. Not necessarily the evidence behind it.

🔬 What actually matters is the INGREDIENT and the CONCENTRATION.

A tiny amount of something good is just expensive water. The right amount, delivered to the right depth of skin, actually makes a difference.

That’s why we talk about what’s in your products and how we get it there — not just what it’s called.

The words that matter are the boring ones: “mechanism,” “delivery,” “concentration,” “consistency.” Those tell you how something actually works, not just how it’s marketed.

⚠️ If it sounds like a promise (“transforms,” “eliminates,” “erases”), be skeptical.

☑️ If it sounds like a process (“increases cell turnover,” “delivers to the dermal layer,” “supports collagen synthesis”), that’s the science talking.

We stick to the second one.

Ever wondered why theres a recurring pattern of hair loss in men?

Because androgen (group of hormones that mainly trigger the development of male physical characteristics) sensitivity isn’t spread evenly across the head.

Follicles at the temples and crown carry far more receptors than those lower down — which is why the pattern is so consistent from man to man that it can be staged on a chart.

The flip side is the permanent zone. Follicles along the lower back and sides are largely unresponsive to DHT, and they keep their own programming wherever they’re placed in the scalp. That’s the principle transplant surgery is built upon.

The part worth knowing: a follicle still producing fine hair is still active. Where an area has been completely smooth for years, the structure has usually regressed.

Knowing which stage a scalp is actually at should come before any decision about it — not after.

Most cosmetic clinics will offer men and women the same set menu of treatments. This one standard protocol ignores the skin tissue in front of you.

🧬 This is why we focus on assessment before any discussion on cosmetic / aesthetic treatments takes place.

👥 Men’s and women’s skin are not the same organ because:

➡️ Male skin is consistently thicker than female skin at the same age, largely through greater dermal collagen density driven by androgens.

➡️ They also age along different curves. Men lose collagen in a steady linear decline. Women follow a comparable line until hormonal transition, then drop more sharply. Same destination, very different route.

➡️ Men produce more sebum and carry a slightly lower surface pH, which changes hydration behaviour and how products sit on the skin.

⚠️ Thicker, oilier, differently-aged skin responds differently to the same intensity..

When it comes to skincare products, more isn’t always better.

There’s a temptation with any good treatment: do it more often, use more product, push harder - thats the wrong approach.

🧬 SKIN BARRIER
Your skin has a barrier is protective. When you over-needle, over-treat, or use too many active ingredients at once, you damage that barrier. Then your skin gets angry — red, irritated, sensitive. You’re actually making it worse.

🔍 HOW SKINCARE PRODUCTS CAN DAMAGE YOUR SKIN
Strong retinol or vitamin C is good. Using it every day, with five other active ingredients, is overkill. Your skin can’t process it all, and you’ll end up with inflammation instead of improvement.

📍 THE SWEET SPOT
- Treatments spaced far enough apart that your skin recovers.
- Enough active ingredients to make a difference, not so many that your skin revolts.
- Consistency over months, not intensity over weeks.

⚠️ WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU USE TOO MANY HARSH SKIN PRODUCTS
- Barrier damage (your skin gets dry, tight, reactive)
- Sensitivity to everything
- Redness and irritation that lasts
- Slowed healing, not faster healing

Patience isn’t optional here. Most people see real change at 3–6 months with our high potency exosome, growth factors and peptide therapy.

🧬 What to expect after your clinic visit:
- First 4 weeks: your scalp is responding, you might shed.
- 6–8 weeks: you might start to see tiny new hairs, or just feel healthier scalp.
- 3 months: small visible change if the conditions are right.
- 6 months: meaningful change.

Microneedling works on two mechanisms at once.

💉 THE SIGNAL
Fine needles create thousands of microscopic channels through the dermis. The body reads these as tissue requiring repair and initiates its natural wound-healing cascade — releasing signalling molecules and increasing local blood flow. It’s a signal, not damage.

🔍 THE WINDOW
Your outer skin layer is built to block almost everything applied to it. Those temporary channels open a short window in which larger molecules can reach the dermis, rather than sitting on the surface and washing away.

That second point is the one most people miss. Delivery isn’t a detail — it’s most of the equation.
