A little trip into the Born archives 📸

These photographs are from one of our Born location photoshoot days at the incredible Woolton Hall in Liverpool.

We sold just six places, then spent the day creating makeovers and photographs throughout this amazing old building. Rather than a traditional studio shoot, we had staircases, fireplaces, beautiful old rooms and plenty of unusual corners to work with.

They were great days to do and looking back at these has got me thinking...

Karen came to Born for a makeover before heading to Pride with her children. ❤️

But this wasn’t just about makeup.

For the first time, they would be meeting Karen.

So rather than creating a bold Pride look, I kept everything soft, natural and understated. The aim was simply to help Karen feel comfortable, confident and like herself for what was going to be a very special day.

Sometimes a makeover means rather more than makeup.

A little look back at Debbie’s photoshoot at the Manchester White Room studio.

After her makeover, we created a mix of portraits and full-length images using both the white room and grey backdrop. The aim is always the same: to make the whole experience relaxed, enjoyable and give you photographs you’re genuinely proud of.
