In the Netherlands it is either raining or so hot you cannot do anything. I am not a summer person. I like te fall more. Nature has so many beautiful colors and the temperatures are lower. So longing for fall and winter. Would love some snow. 📸 Nico Bruin

Festival season is in full swing. That means costumemaking. I have been so busy remoddeling my house I have not found time to start any new costumes. Now finally the house is livable again and I can finally reach my sewing machine, but first we have to hit the drawingbboard because what are we making? The pictures are made by on Elfia Vorden. It was such fun to wear something not princessy. I have decided that on Castlefest I will not wear a princess dress.

The gypsy outfit is my absolute favorite. I have made several items that I mix and match. It is fun, comfy and so happy. Seeing the photo’s just gives an instant happy feel. ❤️ 📸 Nico Bruin

I have a thing for vintage dresses. When I saw a new vintage inspired pattern for a vintage dress I had to make it. Found this lovely floral pattern fabric that was perfect for it. It’s a digital printed linnen. It is great for a a hot summer day. 📸 Nico Bruin
