Discover Ayurvedic Hair Care & Deep Nourishment
Did You know that according to Ayurvedic wisdom hair is a byproduct of the bone tissue?
This means that the health of our hair reflects the vitality of our bones.
That’s why traditional Ayurvedic approach to hair care starts from within and takes a whole body approach.
Healthy bone & hair nourishment
From an Ayurvedic perspective, strong hair begins with properly nourished asthi dhatu (bone tissue) and balanced digestion.

Herb for Spring: Dandelion
In Ayurveda, spring is the natural season for cleansing.
During winter, our bodies accumulate toxins (ama) due to heavier foods and sluggish digetsion. As spring arrives, the increasing warmth can activate these accumulated toxins leading to imbalances – think of colds and allergies typical of this season.
In Ayurveda, this seasonal transition (Ritu Sandhi) holds immense significance, read more: https://purenatural.eu/category/ayurveda-in-spring/

Longing to sleep better?
Sleep begins long before you close your eyes. A consistent evening ritual helps your body recognise when it’s time to slow down — leading to deeper, more restorative rest and a clearer start to the next day.
In Ayurveda, it’s about creating small, repeatable signals for your mind and body. The exact routine can vary, but consistency is what allows your system to settle into a natural rhythm.
A few simple habits can already support this:
❤ Avoid caffeine after 16:00 — it can stay in the body for hours and disrupt sleep.
❤ Eat light and early, ideally before 19.00, to allow proper digestion before bed.
❤ Now that the days are longer, take a short evening walk to support digestion and calm the mind.
❤ Limit screen time at least one hour before sleeping.
❤ Gently move the body with calming yoga poses such as child’s pose or a spinal twist.
❤ Massage the feet to release tension.
❤ Go to bed on time, ideally round 22.00, earlier sleep supports deeper rest.
Make your way to bed creating a calming bedtime ritual:
After brushing your teeth, mist the face with lavender water to soften and calm the senses.
Add a few drops of Lavender essential oil into a bowl and pour some boiling water from the kettle into it to create a peaceful atmosphere.
Once in bed, massage Deep Sleep Nidra oil into the temples and jaw to release built-up tension.
A calm environment, gentle repetition, and the right rituals can guide the body into a more harmonious sleep — naturally

SPRING SUN
Protect Your Skin the Ayurvedic Way
The sun is back — and while it may still feel cool outside, spring sunlight is already strong enough to damage our skin. After the winter months, our skin is more sensitive and less pigmented, making it especially vulnerable to UV exposure and dryness.
Instead of turning to chemical-heavy sunscreens, Ayurveda offers a gentle and effective alternative — working with your skin, not against it.

SPRING VIBES
Perfect time to shed away our winter coat.
During spring, temperature rises causing toxins we collected over winter, to melt and liquify, similar to snow in the mountains.
If we follow the flow of nature in spring we can start moving and shedding our winter mode more easily.
These simple tips scan help:
Get up early. Sleeping in can make you feel drowsy and heavy all day.
*
Massage yourself vigorously after showering every day for at least 10 days. Start with dry brushing to get hardened fat moving and follow with a vigorous massage with uplifting oils like Orange & Neroli Body oil.
*
Massage will help to dissipate toxins, excess water and cellulite from the system. The body oil will give you a light and refreshed feeling, like spring.
*
Get plenty of physical exercise, work out and adapt your yoga on to more substantial exercises. Put the focus on warming exercises that stimulate digestion like twists and do chest openers, to allow mucous to drain.
*
To support getting things moving, start bringing into your diet green vegetables (like spinach, rucola, asparagus, artichoke) and cleansing pulses like mung beans. When possible, avoid dairy products and carbohydrates to ease your digestive system. Choose lighter grains like quinoa. Avoid salt.
*
A good cleansing tea is a blend of cumin, coriander and fennel seeds (equal amounts). You can drink this all day. Dandelion and nettle tea are also great liver support herbs.
*
A visit to the sauna helps to sweat out toxins. Even better when you massage yourself with warm herbal oil in the sauna such as Sugandhadi Rejuvenating Body Treatment.
This helps loosen stuck fats and toxins.

*The replenishing power of Ashwgandha*
Also known as winter cherry, ashwagandha is one of Ayurveda’s most loved and grounding herbs. Traditionally used to restore balance in times of stress, it helps calm the nervous system while gently strengthening the body from within.
Rich in antioxidants and active compounds, ashwagandha is known to support deep relaxation, improve resilience to stress, and stimulate collagen production, making it just as powerful for the skin as it is for the mind.
From an Ayurvedic perspective, it is especially supportive for Vata — reducing restlessness, dryness, and tension, while bringing a sense of calm and stability.
And here is how you can experience it…
Nervous system & relaxation:
Ashwagandha is known for its adaptogenic properties, helping the body cope with stress and calming the nervous system. Best way to use is by massaging whole body with ashwagandha oil before taking a shower every morning or alternatively, massaging your feet every night before bed.
Skin & collagen support:
Its antioxidant properties help protect the skin and support natural collagen production.
Athlete’s support: Supports energy and focus under stress. Promotes overall strenght, muscle tone and after sport recovery. Ideal for yogis, runners, cyclists or anyone training for longevity.
