Following up on September fasting, the 5 day was good, but I was so tired. I decided not to do the 3 days I was going to do. I will do something in October during my fasting phase, maybe a 3 day & multiple 24hrs.
Tired after my 5 day fast, but I did it!! You can get into Autophagy after 17 hrs fasting, you don't have to do 5 days! Please, if you want to do long fasts, start with intermittent and then 24 hrs, 36 hrs, 72 hrs etc.
When I said crackers, I didn't mean regular crackers. I'm not going to go back to eating carbs & such during this 24-hr fast break. It's hard to find healthy crackers, but I think I did! "Flax Seed" by flackers. Here are the ingredients; Organic flax Seeds, Organic Apple C***r Vinegar, sea salt. That's it! 10g of carbs to 9g of fiber, pretty much means 1 g of carbs per serving. @ 8 crackers! Super excited to try these!
Close to 2 days into my 5-day fast! Feeling great! I decided to take copper during this time, maybe it will be utilized even better while I'm on the fast. I'm hoping to feel better, especially when getting in and out of the car after 30 minutes. Hoping to sleep better, I tend to roll from side to side when my hips start hurting. We shall see 😏 I'll get back to you in a couple of days & let you know how I'm feeling!
Getting ready for my fasting phase this month! I'm psyched to do another 5 day, one day off and then a 3 day! I've put it on the calendar and told you all about it, so it will be done!!! I'll keep you updated on how I'm doing. For the next few days until I start, I will be having my fermented foods, salad & keeping my diet simple and light!

Dad & I had a fantastic, relaxing, soul-filling week in God's country!!!
We enjoyed Gatlinburg so very much, it is a lovely little town. I was surprised to see how small it actually was! We took trolleys everywhere in town. Drove from Gatlinburg TN to Cherokee NC, through the Park.
When I returned to work, everything is back to normal! The month of August was difficult. If you didn't hear the building was hit by lightening and we had a rough time while it was being repaired.

It is time for a road trip!
Dad & I are heading to the Smoky Mountains!
Acacia will be closed from Friday the 21st of August, to the 28th.
