Long lake days, pool parties, beach trips, and sunshine are great for the soul... but they can be tough on your extensions.

✨ Summer Extension Care Tips:

• Brush morning and night with an extension-safe brush.

• Braid your hair before swimming or boating to prevent tangles.

• Wet your hair with clean water before getting in the pool to reduce chlorine absorption.

• Rinse immediately after swimming.

• Use a hydrating shampoo and conditioner to keep extensions soft and shiny.

• Apply a UV/heat protectant before sun exposure.

• Use mineral sunscreen whenever possible. Many chemical sunscreens can discolor blonde extensions and leave unwanted pink, orange, or yellow tones.

• Never go to bed with wet extensions.

Remember: Extensions don't receive natural oils from your scalp, so hydration is EVERYTHING during the summer months.
