Getting my kids to sit down for a typical “reading lesson” was always a fight. So the logical thing to do was to bring reading to a device they already love… their iPad! Reading.com is a parent lead app where you go over lessons together. The sliding method really helped my kids blend sounds they already knew together to read words. Each day unlocks a new short lesson and rewards them with books or new levels in the mini reading games also in the app. This has become our new morning routine.
