As some of you know, our family is navigating a deployment, which means I’ll be holding down the fort here at The Crunchy Collective for the next several months.

I am incredibly excited for the reopening of the Clive location and all the opportunities ahead! This has been something we’ve been looking forward to, and I can’t wait to continue serving all of you.

That being said, I ask for a little patience and grace as I juggle being mom, business owner, and everything in between while Dyllan is away. I may not always be able to respond as quickly as I’d like, and there may be moments when things take a little longer than usual, but please know I’m committed to making sure you continue to have the best experience possible.

Your support, encouragement, orders, shares, and kind words mean more to our family than you know. Small businesses don’t survive without amazing customers, and I am so grateful for each and every one of you.

‼️‼️I’m going to be honest for a minute.‼️‼️

Since finding out about the closure, it’s been a roller coaster. At first, it was pure survival mode—getting all of my inventory out and finding somewhere to set up so I didn’t have thousands of dollars of product sitting with nowhere to go.

Then it was rush mode. Getting my new space in Granger up and running as quickly as possible, figuring out checkout, logistics, and how to make everything work for both the salon and my business.

Now that the dust has settled a little, I’ve realized I’ve been in a bit of a fog. I’ve struggled to find the excitement and energy I normally have for Rowe Casa. The behind-the-scenes work, bookkeeping, and even sharing products I love just felt overwhelming. I think I just shut down for a while.

But I’m ready to fight again.

This event means a lot because it’s not just about shopping—it’s about supporting small business owners who have been through one of the most difficult and unexpected challenges of their careers.

So come see me. Come see all of the vendors who have worked so hard to rebuild. Help me find that excitement again. ❤️

ALL of the vendors participating in the New Roots Small Business Pop-Up were directly impacted by the sudden bankruptcy and closure of Painted Tree. For many small business owners, this meant an unexpected loss of income, inventory challenges, and having to quickly find new ways to continue serving their customers.

On June 6th from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM at the Iowa Events Center, these incredible small businesses are coming together to rebuild, reconnect, and continue doing what they love. ❤️

We would love to see our amazing customers and community come out to support these hardworking vendors as they plant new roots and move forward.
