Body Wellness Massage Academy

The Apprentice Therapist Program at Body Wellness Massage Academy offers a unique path for students to continue their education through both classroom learning and real-world experience.

Our apprentices complete the same rigorous academic training while also gaining valuable employment experience in a professional clinical and spa environment. This hands-on opportunity allows students to strengthen their techniques, build confidence, and develop meaningful client care skills alongside highly skilled massage therapists.

Through guided mentorship and on-the-job learning, apprentice therapists are able to bridge the gap between education and career readiness — creating a strong foundation for long-term success in the wellness industry.

📚💪 Putting Knowledge in Motion!

Our future massage therapists are preparing for kinesiology testing by strengthening their understanding of muscles, movement and how the body works.

From identifying muscle origins and insertions to understanding actions and joint movements, kinesiology gives students the knowledge they need to provide safe, effective and purposeful massage.

At Body Wellness Massage Academy, we don’t just memorize—we learn, practice and put that knowledge into motion!

Learning comfort, safety, and purpose through hands-on practice! Our students are developing side-lying massage techniques and learning how to apply proper positioning, bolstering, and pressure for prenatal clients. At Body Wellness Massage Academy, every touch has a purpose. 🤰💆‍♀️

We appreciate our CEu providers and the awesome job they do in helping to offer great classes and education opportunities to Arkansas therapists!

✨ Putting our best face forward - one massage at a time! ✨

Our students are learning facial massage techniques designed to encourage relaxation, ease facial tension and create a soothing client experience.

Through hands-on practice, students develop proper pressure, smooth movements, professional draping and the confidence to safely incorporate facial massage into a full-body session.

At Body Wellness Massage Academy, learning goes beyond the textbook—because skilled, confident therapists are developed through practice. 💆‍♀️

Choosing the right massage school can make all the difference in the kind of therapist you become.

Your education should be about more than completing the minimum hours required for licensure. The professionalism of the learning environment, the amount of hands-on experience you receive, and access to multiple knowledgeable instructors can significantly shape your confidence, skills, and readiness for the workplace.

You deserve a school that will challenge you, support you, and prepare you beyond the basic state requirements a school that builds you up and gives you the confidence to graduate feeling ready to step into your chosen field.

Before enrolling, ask questions. Tour the school. Meet the instructors. Learn how much supervised, hands-on experience you will receive. Your education is an investment in your future, and where you choose to begin matters.

At Body Wellness Massage Academy, we are committed to preparing knowledgeable, professional, and confident massage therapists—not simply helping students complete a program.

At BWMA, we believe repetition aids learning.

Massage therapy is more than relaxation—it helps clients manage medical conditions and relieve soft tissue and musculoskeletal pain. That’s why our students learn skills that go beyond basic Swedish massage, preparing them for real success in the industry.

With open enrollment, you can start anytime—no waiting for the next semester.
