First of all, can we just take a moment for this beautiful soul?! Truly one of those people who walks into a room and instantly makes it brighter. ☀️🫶🏻

When we first started her brow journey, we went with Nano Brows to create those soft, natural, hair-like strokes.

Fast forward to her color booster/ refresher appointment, and we decided to switch things up just a lil’ bit! ✨

After consulting about what she wanted from this next session, rather than going darker with her overall brow color, we transitioned into a Combo Brow — keeping those beautiful nano hair strokes while adding some soft shading to the tails to create a little extra density and definition.

Because here’s the thing about permanent makeup… more definition doesn’t always have to mean DARKER brows! 👏🏻

Sometimes it’s simply about knowing WHERE to add a little something extra to create that perfect balance.

And THAT is why I love what I do so much. It’s never a one-size-fits-all approach. It’s about creating brows that complement YOUR features, YOUR preferences, and YOUR individual brow journey.

As a reminder refresher/color boosting sessions are typically done 1-3 years out from your touchup session. Some clients can even go longer depending on their bodies retention to pigment and if they follow after care to prolong the retention of their brows!

A long term brow client of mine that I recently had the pleasure of glamming up is the beautiful Brenda Korch, LICSW, for her business headshots — and after learning more about her work, I just HAD to share what she’s doing with all my fellow Mamas’!

Because let’s be real… being a mom is a FULL-TIME job on top of everything else we juggle. And with the holidays approaching, that never-ending mental load can feel a whole lot heavier. 😅

Brenda is a licensed clinical social worker who is hosting a workshop series called Holiday Expectations: Lightening the Mom Load for Magical Moments 🎄✨

These workshops are all about navigating the pressure, guilt, expectations + overwhelm that can come with motherhood during the holiday season — and finding ways to actually ENJOY the magic instead of feeling responsible for creating every single bit of it.

And honestly? I think that’s something so many of us mamas need to hear. 💗

The workshops also include relaxation + grounding through Reiki, giving moms an opportunity to slow down and pour a little love back into themselves.
