WE’RE LOOKING FOR A HAIRDRESSER TO JOIN OUR TEAM

Alter Ego Haircolor & Design Studio is looking for a talented, thoughtful hairdresser to join our established team in Frederick.

We believe the best studios are built around good people, beautiful work, continued learning and a genuine respect for one another.

We’re looking for someone who is confident in their craft, curious about continuing to grow, and understands that being part of a team is just as important as being behind the chair.

Someone who:

• Takes pride in their work and their guest experience

• Is dependable, professional and accountable

• Enjoys collaborating and contributing to a positive studio culture

• Is generous with knowledge and supportive of fellow stylists

• Has a natural warmth and ease with guests

• Is interested in continued education and professional development

• Is motivated to grow both creatively and financially

• Brings a positive attitude, good energy and a little personality to the studio

• Values balance, flexibility and having a life outside of work

Our compensation structure allows you to earn the higher of your hourly or commission earnings, giving you both a dependable foundation and the opportunity to benefit from your own growth.

Our qualifying full-time team members receive a health stipend and paid vacation, and we invest in our team through paid continuing education.

We are also intentional about making space for life — including being closed for most major holidays and making time to enjoy each other through team gatherings and celebrations.
