We're still a bit cleaned out from Fruita Fall Festival but I'm here at the Fruita Farmers Market until 12:00 pm with all little bit of everything except our White Willow Salve and our foaming facewash in both variations however I've still got 5 bottles of beard and facewash as well as beard oil for those that were looking for us after the beard contest last weekend.ππ

Fruita really showed up today! We're completely sold out of several products and beyond grateful for the way this community shows up for local businesses.

Pretty good spot to be working if I do say so myself. Our 3rd year here at Fruita Fall Festival and definitely one of the best yet! ππ

Todays class was cold, wet, and absolutely wonderful! We found a ton of mushrooms most of which I don't have pictures of because my hands were full with identifying the many mushrooms π

Yesterday's foraging expedition was very fungi focused! ππβπ«
With the rains and cooler temperatures I would say Fall Mushroom season has begun! We're getting to the end of Strawberry season as things begin the change on the Grand Mesa but the raspberries, huckleberries, choke cherries, and red elderberry are all still abundant. If you attended class 6 last year you can see the raspberry canes coming up from the areas we had tended in the very last photo and while the canes didn't bear fruit in their first year, it's exciting to see the growth of native plant life and the positive impact on our foraging patches throughout the years that were fairly sparse when we began in the 2023 season.
