Healthy hair doesn't always require the same service. Sometimes it's a silk press. Sometimes it's knotless braids. Sometimes it's a quick weave. Sometimes it's a retwist. Sometimes it's a treatment, a trim, or a protective style. My clients aren't loyal because I only do one thing exceptionally well. When taking out your braids, the easiest way to detangle is by doing it one by one. Taking them all out just to have to go back and detangle the whole head is a recipe for disaster.

Leaving the knots for your stylist to take out is exactly why you get charged an extra fee. That stuff takes time and lots of effort when trying to keep the integrity of your hair in tact.

If you cant comb from the roots all the way down, its not detangled.

This is why I offer the unbraid and refresh service. Ill take out your braids, detangle your hair, shampoo and deep condition, and trim your ends.

If you need help with the takedown, I got you. Just dont come with over 2 month old braids please

A protective style can only protect the hair that's healthy enough to be protected. If your hair is already damaged, dry, or splitting before the style goes in, the style won't repair it—it can actually hide the damage while it continues to get worse. Protective styles protect your hair from excessive manipulation—they don't repair damage.

That's why I recommend starting with a healthy foundation: a thorough cleanse, deep conditioning treatment, and a trim if needed before installing a protective style. When the hair underneath is healthy, you'll get the best results and actually retain the length you're growing.
