Featured Bodywork Modality ✨
Integrative Massage
Not sure which massage modality is right for you? That’s exactly why we created our Featured Bodywork Modality series, to help you discover the perfect fit for your body and wellness goals.
This week, we’re featuring Integrative Massage: our most customizable and versatile session.
Integrative Massage blends techniques from your therapist’s professional training to create a session tailored specifically to what your body needs that day. Whether you’re looking to release tension, deeply relax, or simply reset, this session is designed around you.
Think of it as the “perfectly personalized” massage experience. 🌿

Note from the Owner: Holding Space for Those We Love
Life has a funny habit of throwing a curveball the second things finally start feeling calm. One minute you’re thinking, “Wow, maybe I actually have my life together,” and the next minute the universe slides in like, “Excellent. Now that you have emotional bandwidth, let’s unpack that box of trauma you buried 25 year ago.”
This week was a reminder that healing and growth don’t always arrive wrapped in sage bundles and inspirational quotes. Sometimes they show up as hard conversations, uncertainty, unexpected emotions, or someone you love struggling in ways you can’t immediately fix.
And, damn!, That can feel so scary.
But I’m learning that not every difficult season is a sign that things are falling apart. Sometimes it’s a sign that something important is trying to unfold. When we can pause, breathe, and resist the urge to panic-Google our way into oblivion, we create space for healing to happen naturally.
Holding space for someone you love doesn’t mean having all the answers. Sometimes it simply means showing up with compassion, patience, empathy, and a pocket full of light-hearted humor to soften the edges.
So, if life feels a little uncertain right now, this is your reminder to take a deep breath. Trust the process as best you can. Offer yourself and others a little extra tenderness. More often than not, something softer, wiser, and more beautiful is waiting on the other side of the mess.

This Week’s Oasis Oracle
A Little Weekly Inspiration to Keep You from Spiraling
“To Be Fair” in Protection : from the Wisdom of the Oracle deck
This week asks us to notice what’s fair... and what isn’t. More importantly, it asks us to act.
Stand up for someone being treated unkindly, overlooked, or dismissed. Maybe it’s a service worker, a coworker, a friend, or a family member. Small acts of courage and kindness ripple farther than we realize.
In times that can feel especially heavy and divided, choosing empathy is a powerful antidote to helplessness. Hold kindness, courage, and compassion close to your heart this week. It matters. You matter. And your actions truly make a difference.
A Journaling Invitation & Affirmation
Journal Prompt:
Where in my life am I being called to speak up, show compassion, or stand beside someone who needs support? What small action could I take this week to create a little more fairness, kindness, or humanity in the world around me?
Affirmation:
My kindness has power. My courage creates ripple effects.

Faces of Bohemian Oasis : Coral Sunrise, LMT
This week, we’re featuring someone very close to my heart: my daughter, Coral Sunrise, LMT. Coral is not only an incredible massage therapist, but also my right-hand woman at Bohemian Oasis, helping keep the business running smoothly and her mother from pulling her hair out!
Coral originally planned to attend massage school in Puerto Rico, but Hurricane Maria changed everything overnight.
She ended up attending a beautiful little massage school in Boulder, Colorado, where she and her partner, Noah, spent a year living the mountain life out of a camper van and soaking in all that Boulder had to offer.
Thankfully for us, Coral eventually returned to Madison and became an essential part of Bohemian Oasis. She specializes in Integrative Massage, Deep Tissue, and especially Bohemian Hot Stone Massage, which remains her favorite treatment to give.
When she’s not helping clients feel their best, Coral can usually be found spending time with her three beloved dogs, reading a spicy romantasy novel under a cozy blanket, or trying very hard not to adopt every stray animal she encounters.

Note from the Owner: Sunday Newsletter Revamp
I’ve been wanting to refresh the newsletter for a while and finally carved out the time to do it this week! I wanted it to feel a little more personal, engaging, and cozy, so I’ve added a few new sections, including the Oasis Oracle with a weekly affirmation and journal prompt, along with a rotating featured section where we’ll highlight different parts of the Bohemian Oasis community. Some weeks we’ll feature the Faces of Bohemian Oasis, while others may spotlight bodywork modalities, favorite retail items, teachers, or even some of our wonderful neighboring businesses.
If there’s ever something you’d love to see included in future newsletters, I’d truly love to hear your ideas.
The kids are almost out of school, and Eleanor is absolutely counting down the days. I have to admit, I’m looking forward to slower mornings myself. Trying to drag a not-so-little teenager out of bed five days a week has not exactly been the pinnacle of my daily joy. Summer can’t come soon enough!
I also recently started up my walking practice again after letting it hibernate for the long Winter…and Spring. After just a few days of spending an hour outside moving my body and saying hello to the neighborhood, I already feel so much better. There’s something deeply grounding and meditative about walking without headphones, which feels almost rebellious these days. I can’t recommend it enough.
Happy walking, happy breathing, and I hope you have a beautiful week ahead.
With Love from the Oasis,
ALICIA HAMILTON, FOUNDER

It’s Memorial Day Weekend…And…The Garden is Calling
I grew up around master gardeners. My mom, dad, family friends and especially my grandpa, who will always be the Master Gardener of my memories.
Now that I’m not doing as many massages each week, I have more physical energy to devote to digging in the earth again. Saturday night, I spent four hours building a trellis, planting raspberries, and getting potatoes in the ground. Yesterday, I cleaned up the yard for our Memorial Day party and scattered a million zinnia seeds for good measure. Today I enjoy it all with family and friends while my hubby mans the grill.
There’s something incredibly satisfying about working the dirt, planting things, and watching them grow. The fresh air. The birds. (The mosquitoes!) The physical labor. It’s all so deeply soothing to the nervous system.
So if you’ve got a little dirt to play with, even if it’s just in a pot on your porch, I highly recommend digging into it and planting something. Your spirit will thank you.
Have a lovely holiday weekend, my friends. 🌱
