Carrying stress in your shoulders? Tight upper traps are one of the most common tension patterns we see at PRESS — especially from desk work, workouts, and everyday stress.

This seated stretch helps release the muscles between your shoulder and the base of your neck while improving neck mobility and relieving tension. ✨

Try this:
✨ Sit on a chair and hold underneath the seat with one hand
✨ Use your opposite hand to gently guide your head toward the other side
✨ Slightly look toward that side, then down
✨ Keep bending in the opposite direction until you feel the stretch
✨ Breathe deeply and keep the movement gentle

You should feel this right between the shoulder and the base of the neck 😌

This deeper doorway stretch helps open the chest, improve posture, and relieve tension across the front of the shoulders and upper body. 🙌

Try this:
✨ Place your forearm against the doorway
✨ Step slightly forward into the stretch
✨ Slowly rotate your chest away for a deeper release
✨ Breathe deeply and keep the shoulders relaxed

A great stretch if your upper body feels rounded, tight, or restricted after long days on screens or strength training 😌
