Hey, I’m Kayla. I started practicing hair in 2013, got my barber crossover license in 2016, added full body waxing in 2018, and officially became my own boss in 2020 ✂️

Behind the chair, I love creating lived-in or vivid color, sharp cuts, and smooth skin, turning you into a total babe! Outside of the salon, you’ll usually find me hiking or kayaking with my boyfriend, Keith, and our dog Karma. Our cat, Broccoli, prefers the indoor life… apparently car rides are offensive 🐈‍⬛😂

Fun fact: I’m not a Starbucks girl — I run on Dunkin’ Strawberry Daydream Refreshers 🥰

Starting in February, I will be working in the salon one weekend a month. These appointments will be VERY LIMITED. These appointments are per request only, meaning you have to message me directly to book the appointment. Appointments must be made 4 weeks in advance and will have a 50% cancellation fee of services booked if cancelled for any reason.

2026 has brought some slight changes to Babes&Shaves. I spent most of yesterday rearranging some things in the salon and organizing the website to make booking as easy as possible for you!

Updated policies are now live. Please be sure to sign yours before your first appointment in 2026. This helps ensure everyone knows what to expect—especially when the unexpected happens. Policies can be signed directly through the website.

✨Want to feel like a creator? Time is needed to be able to capture the right video/picture to make the best TikTok or reel. Add The Creator to any service and have access to a ring light, tripod and microphones for an entire hour.
✨Have to run back to the office after getting your hair colored? Add Glam to any service for a light makeup touch up so you're ready to go!
✨My Favorite Part is exactly what you think, the shampoo. This adds a 10 minute scalp massage to any shampoo service.

Hair - $65 (down style)
$75 (half up)
$85 (all up)

I will not be doing skull looks. I need much more practice before I'm comfortable doing them for a service.

The hours will be limited!! 10am-3pm. Each service will be an hour long. So spots will be very limited.
